In games with more complicated combat mechanics, rarity can be an indicator of the item’s power level.

-Rare (R) -Super Rare (SR) -Ultra Rare (UR) -Mythical (M)

1-star: Poor 2-star: Below Average 3-star: Average 4-star: Good 5-star: Excellent ..

There are usually at least three rarity levels in gacha games. The higher the rarity, the more expensive the item is. It can be different for each game, but the rankings are pretty straightforward.

Lettered rankings – like S, SS, and SSS – can also have + and – sign after their name. These indicate additional rarity ranks.

Some games have additional rarity that doesn’t follow the ranking system.

For example, Tears of Themis has an MR rarity card that stands between SR and SSR. MR or mega rare doesn’t thematically fit between SR (super rare) and SSR (super super rare), but that’s still how their ranking system works. ..

Some in-game items are rarer than others. Here are some of the more common ones: -Armor: Rarely found with high levels of protection. -Weapons: Rarely found with high damage output. -Gems: Uncommon but often valuable, and can only be obtained through specific quests or by trading with other players.
