To catch a Pidgey on Route 29 or 30, you can either catch it on foot or use a Poké Ball. If you catch it on foot, you can then evolve it to Pidgeotto at level 18. If you catch it in a Poké Ball, however, you cannot evolve it to Pidgeot.

Miltank is a feared Pokémon in the Johto games. Its name is enough to cause dread for anyone who’s played them.

Miltank’s physical defense is increased by Defense Curl. Defense Curl can be stacked up to 6 times.
If you’re taking a beating, you can use Defense Curl to protect yourself from damage, then use Milk Drink to heal Miltank back up to full health.

Miltank’s Zen Headbutt is a great move to use against Fighting-types, as it provides strong coverage. ..
Miltank can be found on Route 38, 39, and 47. Its encounter rate is low on Route 38 and 39, so feel free to wait until Route 47 if you don’t want the hassle of running around in the grass for too long.
2. Snorlax
Snorlax is one of the most popular creatures in the game, and falls pretty close to the top here.
This sleeping giant is an excellent wall in just about every way. It’s strong, durable, and easy to build. Plus, it’s a great way to keep your home safe from burglars and other thieves.
The Pokémon’s bulk is enormous, and its move pool will let us keep it around long enough to grind multiple enemy Pokémon down.
Toxic is a powerful move that can help stall out your opponent’s team. ..
The Toxic TM in the Battle Frontier Market can quickly drain the enemy Pokémon of its HP.
Toxic is a move that inflicts damage and lowers the target’s Defense. Celadon Game Corner has a Giga Impact item that can be used to hit the enemy with a huge STAB Giga Impact.
If the enemy is still standing after a Giga Impact and 2 rounds of Toxic, use Rest or Protect to keep Snorlax alive – hopefully leading to the third round of poison that’ll take down your foe.
You can find Protect in the Goldenrod Department Store, while Rest is learned naturally at level 25.
We need to find a way to equip both of our moves, as we’ll need the fourth move slot for vital coverage.
Steel-type Pokémon are immune to poison, so we’ll have to think outside of that Toxic stalling strategy to take them down.

Blissey is a Pokémon that will play out its moveset in much the same way as Snorlax – just with much stronger support for Toxic stalling. This means that Blissey will be able to hold its own against many opponents, thanks to its ability to stall out battles with Toxic. ..
Toxic is up first, followed by Protect, with both learned by TM once again. Toxic is now the most important ability for tanks in the game. ..
For healing, Blissey has Softboiled, which will heal a fraction of its high HP.
