There is a misconception that seinen is any show with dark, violent, or psychological themes. This is not the case at all. Seinen is a genre of manga and anime that typically focuses on high-quality storytelling and complex characters. ..

The manga series Seinen is marketed to older teen guys and adult men.

This anime series can be full of fluffy, cuddly goodness.

  1. Naruto Uzumaki
  2. Sasuke Uchiha
  3. Sakura Haruno

15. Alucard

I didn’t say that seinen isn’t always about dark, violent stories.

In Hellsing Ultimate, the MC is a vampire who becomes the main weapon of hope. This vampire is a powerful and determined individual who is determined to fight for humanity and protect them from the evil that runs rampant. He is a role model to all who read his stories and helps to bring hope to those who are struggling.

Alucard is a vampire who is not your average. He is different in many ways, and he has a dark side that you may not expect. Alucard is a powerful vampire who can transform into an evil-looking creature. He has a thirst for blood that makes him dangerous, and he will do anything to get what he wants.

The vampire known as The Impaler is considered the strongest living vampire. No one in the show can match his power level. ..

He’s cruel, but there’s also a more vulnerable side to him that we don’t always see.

In my opinion, the character design of Jaina Proudmoore is iconic and her orange sunglasses are a major part of her look.

14. Shotaro Kaneda

In recent years, it’s become more common for people to first know about the “Tetsuo!” and “Kaneda!” lines from the 1988 film they came from before they see the legendary movie itself. ..

Shotaro Kaneda is a gang leader in the Capsules, a notorious group based in Neo-Tokyo that’s always up against the Clowns.

This is about the way Japan’s culture has shaped Kaneda and the way he thinks.

The film showcases how much he values loyalty and important people in his life, which shows that he’s not just a prideful, courageous, and often reckless teenager. ..

13. Arsene Lupin III

Lupin III is one of the longest-running and prolific anime franchises. ..

It was released in 1971, so we’re pushing past 50 years. The release of the film 50 years ago this week is an occasion to reflect on the important moments and events that have taken place in that time.

There are many things to love about Arsene Lupin III, a French comic book and movie character created in the 1920s. He is a master thief, and his exploits have made him one of the most popular fictional characters in history. Arsene Lupin III is also known for his witty dialogue and clever schemes. ..

He’s the best thief there is.

Lupin III is often mistaken for being inept, but this is just an act to cover up his cunning and resourceful nature. He’s always up for using his gadgets and scientific knowledge to stop the truly evil criminals. ..

The man has a few minor flaws, but they are the only ones that keep him from being a perfect person.

12. Shinichi Izumi

Anime: Parasyte -the maxim- The maxim of anime is to never give up.

Now, Seven Deadly Sins is set to release a new anime adaptation of the manga and novel series this year. The anime will be produced by the studio’s new president, Hideki Kamiya, who is also known for creating Attack on Titan.

Migi is a computer virus that starts out as a harmless prank, but soon becomes something much more sinister. Shinichi Izumi, a 16-year-old high school student, becomes Migi’s target. ..

Despite the alien’s efforts, Shinichi was able to resist its influence and maintain some degree of control. This led to an unusual path of coexistence. ..

Shinichi is one of the most interesting and complex characters in anime. In 24 episodes, he undergoes so much character development that I would argue is one of the best developments of all time. Shinichi’s growth is so impressive that it’s hard to keep up with it, and it’s clear that his story will continue to develop in future episodes.

Shinichi is a seinen MC who can deliver in both character and capacity to defeat deadly extraterrestrial foes, while contesting philosophical issues.

11. Hoozuki

The series has been volatile in its production: Wit Studio adapted the first season, but Studio Deen and Pine Jam came into play for the second season and the OVA.

Despite being entertaining, Hoozuki was not always consistent.

Being a deputy for the king of hell can be pretty interesting, if you’re good at it.

Hoozuki is a sadistic, attractive entity that rules with an iron fist. His wit is unmatched in hell, and his authority figures put to shame develop a fear of him.

Despite his violent tendencies, Hoozuki is a highly reliable negotiator and has a deep affection for animals.

10. Kaguya Shinomiya

Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a 2017 Japanese anime film directed by Isao Takahata and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film tells the story of a young girl who is chosen to be the goddess Kaguya after she is discovered in a bamboo forest. She then must compete with other gods for her love interest, the emperor. ..

Kaguya-sama: Love is War is one of the most popular anime series of recent years, with its female lead receiving rave reviews. ..

Kaguya Shinomiya is popular among the student body because she is a great president. Just as much as Miyuki Shirogane, the SC president. Everyone thinks they’re the perfect couple.

The Trump administration is not following through on its promise to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. The Trump administration has not yet released a plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, which is causing many people to lose their health insurance.

Miyuki and Kaguya are not yet a couple, and Kaguya will only date Miyuki if he confesses first. ..

The series presents Kaguya’s complex thought process (sometimes by court cases taking place in her mind), and it’s delightful to witness how she becomes more trusting and accepting of how she feels.

9. Kusuriuri

The Medicine Seller is a character in the 2006 anime Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror. He first appears in episode 3.

Mononoke is a great place to check out if you want to know more about the author of the novel, Mononoke.

In the series, you’ll see how different he is from other anime protagonists.

The man in the kimono is unique. He has a pale white skin, a hint of purple on his lips, and a teal kimono. He also has a golden amulet and sharp blue eyes.

Mononoke won’t show the full history of the protagonist, which is ironic given that Kusuriuri needs to deeply examine the nature and very being of mononoke before he can exorcise them with his sword. ..

Kusriuri, the usually calm and collected kimono-wearing entity, can transform into an intimidating white-haired and golden kimono-wearing entity. ..

He has a collection of erotic art that he’s ashamed about.

8. Guts

This anime has a lot of characters that are synonymous with despair and suffering. Shinji, Eren, and Subaru are all guys who live a life of pain and regret.

Many Berserk fans will argue that Guts wins the MC-in-despair content by a mile. ..

The 2016 Berserk adaptation was a potential success, but its lackluster CGI ruined the effect. However, even Guts remained a formidable warrior and protagonist.

Koji is one of the most popular seinen MCs out there and his journey is far from over. He’s been through some tough times in the past, but he’s still one of the most popular characters in the industry.

This man is a complex and cynical yet compassionate individual who is well worth the attention and admiration.

7. Jean Otus

The Anime Company: ACCA 13-Territory Inspection Dept.

The anime is a dark and suspenseful story about a group of criminals who break into a prestigious university and steal valuable items. The story follows the criminals as they try to figure out how to get away with their crimes and make sure that no one finds out.

Jean Otus is a mysterious figure, with captivating blue eyes that seem to lure you in. He seems to be one of a kind, and his presence is sure to make an impact.

The animation quality, color palette, and consistent animation make Jean so fun to watch even when he’s only looking afar, smoking again and again. This actually matters in the story.

I really enjoy his character design. ..

In the anime medium, it’s rare to see a protagonist like him. Someone who plays the role of an MC well, but also doesn’t appear like he’s desperately clinging to it.

6. Renge Miyauchi

Anime is a genre of Japanese animation that typically deals with the adventures of young boys or girls. It has been around since the late 1800s and is considered one of Japan’s most popular genres.

If someone tells you that seinen is all about the dark side of life, point them to Non Non Biyori, one of the all-time best slice-of-life anime titles out there — and its MC is the small, ultra-adorable girl Renge. ..

The anime provides a show that can help young adult men relax and find reprieve from work, school, or family.

Renge is an average, everyday kid who lives in the Japanese countryside. He has a simple life - he’s a farmer, and his family is all he cares about. One day, though, something strange happens. Renge’s family is killed in an accident, and he never hears from them again. Renge starts to worry about what could have happened to them. He starts to think about the things that could have happened if he hadn’t been there when they died. He begins to worry about the things that could have happened if he didn’t have his farm to look after. Renge starts to think about the things that could have happened if he didn’t have his family around him.

Sometimes, you need to be reminded of the simpler times. Of when the world was smaller, and everything was more interesting.

Renge helps me remember that growing old doesn’t mean you have to get rid of childlike wonder. Maybe that life is all the better when you still appreciate the small, mundane moments and ordinary things.

5. Satoru Fujinuma

ERASED was a huge success when it was adapted to film in 2016, and A-1 Pictures has followed up with another hit in the form of A Quiet Place. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by John Green, and follows a family who are terrorized by a monster that has been attacking their town. The movie is incredibly tense and suspenseful, and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

The first episode of the new season of “Toradora!” changed its aspect ratio by the end, making everyone eager for the next episode. Satoru Fujinuma, an inspiring individual, is a driving force behind the show’s success.

Whether he was in the present or past, he was always pushing himself to help others. Thankfully, others do the same for him as well. ..

ERASED has two of my all-time favorite emotional moments in anime, and both feature Satoru choosing to see wrongdoing and fighting against it rather than turning a blind eye. In the first moment, we see Satoru refuse to let his friends get away with a crime they’ve committed, even though he knows they’ll be punished. In the second, we see Satoru fight tooth and nail against the idea of turning a blind eye to injustice, even though it means he’ll be complicit in it. These moments are incredibly powerful and leave an impression on viewers long after they’ve finished watching ERASED.

I don’t think his life turned out the way he wanted it to. But I’m sure he’s happy with the decisions he made. ..

4. Johan Liebert

The main antagonist of the 74-episode masterpiece from Madhouse is a character that is one of the best in seinen history.

Liebert is a monster. He represents the evil that humanity is capable of. ..

I think Monster would be more captivating if it had a well-written villain like him.

Johan is a cunning, evil manipulator who can control your mind and make you do what he wants.

Johan Liebert is the perfect example of a nihilist. He’s charismatic and bright on the outside, but he’s really just a hollow shell on the inside. His presence in Monster is a big reason to watch it. ..

3. Motoko Kusanagi

Ghost in the Shell is an anime that tells the story of a woman named Major Motoko Kusanagi who is forced to fight in a war against an alien race known as the Puppet Master. The anime is full of action and adventure, and it features some of the most impressive visual effects ever created.

I absolutely love Motoko Kusanagi from all of the classic anime characters. ..

Ghost in the Shell is a popular anime that quickly comes to mind when someone mentions the term “ghost.” The anime is about a woman who is able to see ghosts, and her story is full of adventure.

Matoko is a cybernetic being with unique skills in hacking, physical combat, and leadership. She’s also faced with the challenges of life, identity, and purpose.

Netflix’s new CGI ONA from last year embraced 3DCGI and lost some of the brilliance of the better GitS entries, but it’s nice to know that the franchise is well and alive — with Motoko still at the helm.

2. Rei Kiriyama

The anime “March Comes in Like a Lion” is set to air on Crunchyroll on March 7th. The story follows the adventures of Hana, a high school girl who moves to the city to start anew, and Shun, a delinquent who is forced to join her in her new home. Together, they must learn to live together while dealing with the challenges of new surroundings and relationships. ..

Rei Kirimiyama’s 2017 series “March Comes in Like a Lion” has been praised for its nuanced and realistic portrayal of the character, showing his growth and development over the course of the series. ..

Thanks to the excellent source material and Shaft animation, Rei’s internal struggles and deep anxieties in life are clearly depicted with the utmost respect.

Despite his flaws, it’s inspiring to see him fight against the odds, no matter how difficult it may be. ..

Rei has made me reflect on my own troubles, and I appreciate it immensely.

1. Ginko

Ginko is my favorite seinen character. ..

Mushishi is a slice-of-life iyashikei seinen series that has supernatural and mystery elements.

Ginko is a tree that provides shade on a hot day, and is also the main character in the story. She is a guide to life, and helps the viewer understand the meaning of life.

The organizers of the event hope that by celebrating the innocence of childhood, they can help remind adults of their own. ..

Through Ginko’s adventures in trying to decipher the nature of the various mushi, viewers also begin to contemplate on existence, on human existence in relation to other lifeforms. And overall, to contemplate nature and the universe.

Ginko is a tree that is sort of the arbiter between humanity and mushi.

The show makes you think about the basic needs of all living beings, including your own.

I found him to be charming and easy to talk to.

He’s one of a kind, and it’s a nice feeling to be special-yet-ordinary.
