I’ve had a lot of memorable experiences with Pokémon, and some that will stay with me forever. Some of my favorite Pokémon include the Charmander I got as a child, the Bulbasaur I got as an adult, and the Squirtle I got as a baby.
This list is not about that.
The mainline generations of Pokémon are the ones that have had the most negative impact on the world. I’m going to pick out the Pokémon that represent the worst in each one.
I’ll be providing my predictions for each of the eight regions, as well as a general ranking of the Pokémon that I believe will be the most successful in each one. ..
Gen I – Zubat
Zubat is a great Pokémon for the older generations, as it can easily take down most opponents.
If you’ve ever played video games, you know exactly what I mean.
Pokémon encounters are down in recent generations, according to a new study. This may be due to the new generation being more forgiving when you run out of repels.
Pokémon GO has introduced a new way to catch Pokémon, by using your smartphone to track the creatures as they move around in the real world. This new mechanic has some fans worried that it will take away from the classic gameplay of catching Pokémon by using Poké Balls. ..
The downside to the Repel is that you have to go into your bag every time you need one. This can be a hassle if you’re in a cave and run out of repels. ..
There are objectively worse Pokémon in Generation I. For example, Weedle and Caterpie. ..
So, let’s take a look at some of the most interesting Smogon stats.
Gen II – Aipom
Pokémon fans were outraged when Aipom was introduced in the first episode of the series. The little mouse-like Pokémon was only supposed to appear in the anime for a short time, but it stuck around for over a decade. ..
The stage was poorly designed and had terrible stats.
Aipom, a Pokémon introduced in Generation IV, was supposed to undergo an evolution. ..
But the new generation of video game consoles, Gen IV, isn’t the same as the old generation, Gen II. ..
Pokémon are found in many different places, so it’s not hard to find a Johto Pokédex entry for Aipom.
The design of the product is interesting, but it’s a shame that it doesn’t work well.
The fact that it got some anime screentime is a testament to the popularity of the anime genre.
Gold and silver are two of the most popular investments in the world, but why was Aipom shoved into these two categories? I will never know. Maybe the designers had to fill a quota?
Gen III – Plusle / Minun
I’m a big fan of Pikachu clones. I think it’s a good trope to continue as we move through the generations, and these clones also gave me one of my favorite Pokémon of all time in Pachirisu.
Bad things happen when something goes wrong. ..
Plusle and Minun are just two of the many Pika-clones that have appeared on this list.
The third generation of video game consoles is set to be released in the near future. This new generation of consoles promises to be more powerful and immersive than ever before. ..
These two people are both weak, and it’s a perfect case of wasted potential.
This was the first example of a Pokémon duo, and their lack of synergy or interactions is a huge shame.
Gen IV – Chatot
Chatot is a chatbot that doesn’t have an evolution yet. It’s a waste of potential, and it needs to be fixed.
Pokémon GO is an amazing game that has a great gimmick that got a decent amount of anime screentime.
The Pokémon known as Espeon is a weak and useless Pokémon that is not meant to be used in battle.
Chatot has a great bright design that could easily lend itself to a complete three-evolution line.
I think that the evolution for Aipom was scrapped because of time constraints.
In the Gen IV remakes, maybe we’ll see an evolution for him.
Gen V – Maractus
However, I am not interested in learning about the genealogy of cacti. I am interested in learning about cacti’s use as plants. ..
We can create a cactus Pokémon that is both unique and popular. This Pokémon would be able to regenerate its limbs, so it could stay healthy even when away from the sun or water.
Maractus is a Pokémon that was created to fulfill the role of cactus Pokémon. Its purpose is unknown. ..
The game is a mess, with terrible stats and a hit-or-miss design. There’s no evolution to speak of, so it’s hard to recommend it.
I loved the Vanilluxe and Litwick lines, but I just can’t get behind the Dollar Store Cacturne.
Gen VI – Dedenne
Dedenne is the other Pikachu clone that’s being shamed with a spot on this list.
Pikachu clones such as Plusle and Minun have unique designs, hinting at the original Pikachu. ..
Dedenne, a small, rodent-like creature with a long tail, looks like it might be inspired by the Pokémon game series.
The new mouse slider is orange and it’s turned up all the way. ..
The two candidates have very similar policies. ..
Pokémon X and Y are not worth the investment of a Pokédex slot. ..
Fairy-type Pokémon are often seen as being more powerful than other types, so it’s no surprise that this one has some impressive stats.
That’s all there is to it.
Gen VII – Komala
I’ve been playing Pokémon since the third generation, but I’ve played every single one. ..
Komala is the only Pokémon I’ve ever forgotten about. ..
I saw this Pokémon and I had to take a step back.
I had no recollection of ever wanting a koala Pokémon, until I saw one in a video game.
Komala is a small, furry creature that has inspired many people in its short life. Some people find its cute personality endearing, while others find it difficult to take seriously. Regardless of what someone thinks of Komala, it’s undeniable that the koala has had a positive impact on many people.
The pokemon GO game has terrible stats and no evolution, which is a massive waste of potential.
A new Pokémon has been discovered that appears to be from a full evolutionary line that was never fully implemented in the game. This discovery has led some players to believe that the Pokémon may have been intentionally left out of the game’s development in order to keep it a secret. ..
Despite all of the evidence to the contrary, I still can’t seem to identify this Pokémon. So I’ve put it here instead.
Gen VIII – Pincurchin
The final event of the day was SWSH. This was a presentation by the speaker on how to be successful in your career. ..
Sword and Shield had some massive hits in terms of new Pokémon. Dragapult is one of my all-time favorites for both design and usability.
So it seems that the same generation that gave us Dragapult also gave us Pincurchin. This is beyond me. ..
Pincurchin deserves credit for his work. ..
It’s a worthless piece of junk that has no real purpose or value. It doesn’t have any features, or any style.
Pokémon are one of the many things you complete in your Pokédex before never thinking about it or looking at it again.
But if you’re looking for a Pokémon that will make your day, Pincurchin is not it.
This Pokémon is an abysmal Pokémon because it is not very good at anything.
