I don’t know why, but anime just can’t help but create characters that are both adorable and wholesome. And extremely likable/father material priests. What’s up with that?

10. Gyomei Himejima
Gyomei is a man who has been known to be an anime-only fan. He’s a sulky and hulking man, and he doesn’t seem to care much for other people.
The man who stood out among all the others was undoubtedly noticed for his towering size. But it was also evident that he had a heart of gold, as he wept and prayed for the well-being of everyone in attendance. ..
He was raised in a temple and his wardrobe is full of religious symbols and clothing. This has definitely had an impact on him.
He is the only one who looks more like a holy man than just a warrior. ..
9. Ruri
Ruri is a priestess of the Ishigami village, and the source of all things precious in the show. She is a powerful and respected figure, and her advice is always sought by the villagers. She is a valuable resource to the show, and it is through her guidance that viewers can learn about the importance of family, community, and nature.
Despite being extremely sick, she does her best to be there for her people and not trouble anyone, especially her gorilla-strength sister.
This does change, however, when Senku Nye the Science Guy joins the picture.
After that point, we see a little more of Ruri’s personality. She is too wholesome for this world and also surprisingly quick.
8. Index Librorum Prohibitorum
Anime: A Certain Magical Index is a manga and anime series written and drawn by the author, Kazuya Takahashi. The series follows the adventures of a group of young magical girls known as the Index.
I can’t believe what I’m seeing.
Index is a startup that doesn’t quite have the ideal setup in life.
She’s a nun in training and is blessed with a perfect memory, and the capability to not be affected by grimoires. Which is a dynamic duo that can take over the world.
The woman has a problem with her memory, which keeps getting wiped every year. She’s not sure what it is, but it seems like a coincidence that her memory keeps getting erased.
She seems very childish, but in a good way.
She’s a nun who is kind, naïve, flabbergasted by technology, and really caring towards her partners. A memorable nun if I’ve ever seen one.
7. Shiro Fujimoto
Shiro is the father figure that makes you want to cry, and maybe call your parents or your pastor.
He’s a down to earth guy who does his very best to take care of Rin and Yukio, as well as protect the Earth from demonic threats.
Although he seems tough on the outside, Rin’s altercation with him has really got to him. I promise myself that I won’t cry when he gets hurt.
6. Hakuren Oak
This is a character who you think is going to be a jerk, but then you end up being pleasantly surprised.
Hakuren, from a wealthy family with a lot of political clout, decides to become a bishop. This is pretty noble of him, as becoming a bishop is an important role in the church. ..
The main point of this article is that despite being a bit of a jerk, the prince has a heart of gold and is really interested in helping the princess.
She was appointed to be his tutor. And instead of manipulating her for his own gain, he used her to point out the suffering of the people to the higher-ups.
The use of social media to manipulate others is a growing concern. ..
5. Shinpu
Shinpu is a down to earth character who I want to be my Father and dad. He has the same down to earth attitude as Shiro, and he also has the same goals as me.
Shinpu is a goofball who spends most of his time either being wholesome or funny.
Even though he’s obviously disappointed in both of his boys for going into the real world, he’s still proud of them. He weeps like a baby whenever they come to visit.
I don’t really know what to say about him, other than he’s an old fart.
4. Rosette Christopher
Rosette is a holy figure, and many people find her difficult to read.
On the other hand, she is also a vigilante who takes justice into her own hands, often going after criminals without any regard for innocent bystanders. ..
Some people find her methods to be unorthodox, as she made a pact with a demon in order to save her loved one. ..
Sister Simone has always been there for her brother, no matter what. She is always there to lend a listening ear and offer support. She is also an amazing cook, and can whip up a delicious meal in no time at all. ..
3. Chitose Nanbu

I find myself conflicted about how holy this character is. ..
The show is about a man who moves into a convent with a group of nuns. Chitose, the best nun, takes care of him. ..
The guy has a lot of spiritual power, but can only use it when he’s really horny.
Chitose fulfills the need of his by exorcising spirits and generally saving the day.
It helps that she likes the guy, even though he’s a Buddhist.
The show might not be winning any anime awards, but at least it was worth watching for Chitose.

This anime is a great slice of life story that you won’t want to miss.
Maria is a very young girl, and like most 10-year-olds, she is very active. She loves to play games and explore the world around her.
She is easily tricked and easily triggered to call other people rotten mandarins, which is like the heaviest of insults for a child. I guess. ..
Kodaka and Aoi form a wholesome brother-sister relationship. This is always adorable to see.

Shinpu and Yui are a great team, and I couldn’t imagine going without them.
