The Trust System currently requires you to progress the MSQ up to the level 71 quest “The Lightwardens”. This may change after the system is introduced to older content.

Please be aware that this guide contains spoilers for the Main Scenario Quest. If you have not yet completed the quest, I advise against reading on.

Accessing and Using the Trust System

Scenario Mode is the default mode for the Trust System. It allows you to create and manage scenarios, which are a type of scenario-based game. Scenarios can be used to test different features of the Trust System, or to explore new potential uses for the Trust System. Avatar Mode is a more advanced mode that allows you to create and manage avatars, which are your own personal characters in the game. Avatars can be used to interact with other players, or to represent yourself in the game world.

After completing the Level 71 Main Scenario Quest “The Lightwardens”, you can access Scenario Mode. Avatar Mode is gained by completing the final Main Scenario Quest for each expansion. ..

Scenario Mode

If you’ve been playing the game for a while and have unlocked Scenario Mode, you can find a chest in the first room of the dungeon with the Trust icon above it.

If you speak to any of the NPCs in the game and choose to form a Trust Party, you will be able to select your party members and enter the dungeon. ..

The Duty section of the Trust System allows you to form your party for the dungeon.

Avatar Mode

To unlock Avatar Mode, you must complete the MSQ. This allows you to party up with certain NPCs that are not normally available when running the dungeon in Scenario Mode. ..

Avatar Mode is a new way to play the game that starts players at level 71 and offers a more challenging experience. Completing dungeons in this mode will reward your party mates with a fixed amount of experience points that depends on the instance completed. ..

  1. Make sure everyone is aware of the party’s strategy and what they’re expected to do.
  2. Be prepared for any traps or enemies that may be waiting for you.
  3. Stay together as a team and communicate with one another to make sure everyone is safe and successful. ..

It is important to remember that it is considered a wipe if the player dies during an instance. There are no commands that can be issued like in Squadrons, but party members will still follow fight mechanics and dodge AoE’s as best as they can. We will get into a more detailed description of each NPC’s behavior in battle later on in this guide. Trust Parties will always follow the 4-man composition of 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 DPS. There are some cases where some party members will have the option of switching to a different class to be able to meet this requirement. ..

The Trust System is a system in the game that allows players to trust other players. This trust can be used for things such as giving items, or helping out in combat. The trust system is important because it can help to prevent player-versus-player conflict, and it can also help to build relationships with other players. However, there are some pros and cons to using the trust system. The Pros of using the Trust System:

  1. It can help to prevent player-versus-player conflict.
  2. It can help to build relationships with other players.
  3. It can help to prevent player-versus-player theft.

This means that certain NPCs may be able to change their roles to fulfill the requirements for having two tanks, two healers, and four DPS. It is important to note that for this instance, the player can be knocked out three times before it is considered a wipe.

NPC Roster & Behavior

Your team of NPCs will always try to use the Trust System when possible. This system allows players to trust other NPCs with their lives, and allows them to receive rewards for doing so. When using the Trust System, be sure to keep your players safe by making sure they are always in a safe place and that no one is trying to harm them.

The party will not actively pull more than one mob at a time. However, if the player tries to pull more mobs to the party, the tank will pick them up. Trust Parties will also focus more on single target attacks. ..

If any party members other than the player are knocked out, the healer will use a swift casted raise spell during battle. Outside of battle, healers will do a hard casted raise and non-healer members can use a phoenix down.

The Limit Break for the DPS party will be a special ability that allows them to deal more damage.

The NPCs in the trust system will be a mix of people who have been vetted and approved by the party, as well as those who are simply curious or want to help out. Some of these NPCs will be more important than others, but all will have an important role to play in your story.

Alphinaud Leveilleur – Academician/Sage (Healer)

Alphinaud is one of the Scions’ healers. He is an Academician during the events of Shadowbringers and switches to being a Sage in Endwalker.

Alphinaud is a class that is unique to Alphinaud, but it functions very similarly to a Scholar. Alphinaud is good at providing critical heals, and will always prioritize healing Alisae if she is in the party with him.

Alisae Leveilleur – Red Mage (DPS)

Alphinaud’s twin sister is the more fiery of the two, and she joins the Scions as a DPS class. However, as a Red Mage, she is able to provide some emergency healing in a pinch.

Alisae is a very impulsive person, and will always use a Limit Break as soon as it is available.

Thancred Waters – Gunbreaker (Tank)

Thancred has been shown to fight as a Rogue throughout most of the MSQ up to Shadowbringers.

After being transported to the First, Thancred takes up the gunblade and participates in the Trust System as a Gunbreaker.

Thancred is a highly effective player against bosses because he is thorough with his shields and self-heals. He’ll also use Gunbreaker’s invulnerability skill “Superbollide” when his health gets dangerously low.

Since Thancred cannot charge his gunblade cartridges on his own, he will only be able to use them when Ryne is with him in the party during Shadowbringers. For him to use these skills in Endwalker, he will need to be grouped up with either Y’shtola or Urianger. ..

Minfilia/Ryne – Oracle of Light (DPS)

Minfilia, the former leader of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, was rescued from Eulmore before the events of Shadowbringers by Thancred. During their travels together, Thancred teaches her how to fight as a Rogue. ..

She is able to use vanish and Trick Attack for non-boss fights and will use Limit Breaks if she is not in a party with Alisae and the player is not using a DPS class.

The Endwalker dungeon is a difficult and challenging dungeon that is not available to players who are Endwalkers.

Urianger Augurelt – Astrologian/Lithomancer (Healer/DPS)

Urianger is a renowned Astrologian who provides support and healing to the Scions as they navigate their lives. ..

Urianger can give the party buffs and will occasionally cast Death on the enemy with the lowest HP, defeating them instantly.

If the player decides to use the Trust System for The Mothercrystal as a healer, Urianger will change his class to Lithomancer. This is a DPS class that works very much like Arcanists and Summoners.

Y’shtola Rhul – Sorceress (DPS)

Y’shtola, the Avatar of Destruction, joins the Warrior of Light as a DPS class. This new class offers powerful abilities that can take down enemies quickly and easily.

The Witch will cast several spells that are akin to those of the Black Mage. These spells will cause damage to the target and will also cause them to feel a sense of fear.

Y’shtola is a Conjurer who specializes in single target offense. Her spells have AoE splash damage when cast, which can help the healer of the group if they are knocked out during a fight. However, Y’shtola does not cast any raise spells.

The Crystal Exarch – All-Rounder (Tank/Healer/DPS)

The Crystal Exarch is a versatile and powerful character that can fill any role in a party. As a tank, he will use the skills of a Paladin, a White Mage for healer, and a Black Mage for DPS.

The Exarch is a White Mage that can cast several offensive AoE spells. His downside is that he will have a hard time healing allies in low health.

G’raha Tia – All-Rounder (Tank/Healer/DPS)

After being freed from the Crystal Tower, G’raha joins the Warrior of Light as a Scion of the Seventh Dawn in post-Shadowbringers content. Having vast knowledge on the workings of the Crystal Tower, he can take on any role in the party. ..

G’raha Tia is a powerful Crystal Exarch who will behave in the same manner as the Crystal Exarch.

Estinien Wyrmblood – Dragoon (DPS)

After the events of Heavensward, Estinien travels the world in search of the primal summoned with Nidhogg’s eyes. He helps an understaffed Scions of the Seventh Dawn during the events of Shadowbringers at the request of Tataru and Krile and officially joins the group in Endwalker. ..

Dragoon players are typically skilled in using abilities that deal physical damage. Estinien will use abilities that deal magical damage.

DPS companions in the Trust System are typically effective against fighting multiple enemies, but he is the only one that primarily uses AoE damage. This makes him especially effective when fighting against groups of enemies. ..

He will use Limit Breaks as soon as it becomes available to the party.

The Endwalker dungeon introduced Estinien, a powerful new magic item that can be used to power up your party members’ abilities.

Scenario Mode-Only NPCs

Since the MSQ has caused some of our allies to be unavailable, we’ve been able to rely on other groups to help us out. ..

These NPCs are only available in Scenario Mode and cannot be found in other modes.

Lyna – Guard Captain (DPS)

Captain Lyna is a soldier of the Crystarium and one of the Exarch’s closest comrades. She fights as a ranged DPS with the weapons and skills of a Dancer.

Lyna will focus on offensive buffs during fights, but will use some defensive skills when the party’s HP gets low.

Hythlodaeus – Soulseer (DPS)

The group of Ancients includes a powerful being known as the Warrior of Light. Together, they search for answers to the world’s problems, and find that they have much in common with one another. They are all fighting for a better future, and together they will make sure that the world is saved.

Hythlodaeus, an ancient Soulseer with skills similar to a Bard, is one of these ancient beings.

Hythlodaeus is a unique Bard who can cast heals and a swift casted Raise when needed. He will use Limit Breaks when possible, as long as the player is not using a DPS class.

Emet-Selch – The Thid Seat (Tank/DPS)

One of the members of the Convocation of Fourteen, Emet-Selch can fill the role of either tank or DPS. As a tank, he will use skills similar to those of a Dark Knight but with different names. As a DPS, he will cast various elemental spells like a Black Mage.

Emet-Selch also has the ability to raise party members instantly when needed and use Limit Breaks as soon as they are available.

Venat – All-Rounder (Tank/Healer/DPS)

A former member of the Convocation, Venat is a versatile and experienced politician.

As a tank, she uses the skills of a Paladin to heal herself frequently and to use Hallowed Ground when low on HP.

As a White Mage, Venat will cast the spells of a healer. In this role, she gains access to “True Stoneskin”, which is an effective party-wide defensive buff.

When joining the party as a DPS, she will use the abilities of a Dancer to increase her damage output.

Venat is a very aggressive and powerful fighter who will react quickly to mechanics. She also has the ability to raise party members instantly during battle.

The Pros & Cons of Using the Trust System

Some people find the Trust System to be difficult to use and find it less helpful than they thought it would be.

There are a few reasons why you may want to use this feature in your business. First, it can help you save time and money. Second, it can help you improve your customer service experience. Finally, it can help you track your progress and make changes to your business strategy.

Pros

The Trust System provides the players with another option for leveling up their character.

Cons

Dungeons take longer to complete because your party will mostly favor using single target offensive abilities, and it will take more time to get to the final boss. More prone to wipes. A party wipe will also contribute to the time it takes to complete a dungeon, and since all it takes for a Trust Party to wipe is the player being KO’d, there is definitely a higher risk here. Less loot. Since all the loot goes straight to the player, less of it can be found in treasure coffers during a Trust Party run. No commendations.
