How Do I Leave The Novice Network?
You will be removed from The Novice Network when you reach over 160 hours played in the post-Stormblood story content.
But it’s not.
The game is very long, but if you skip all the cutscenes it will probably be around 8 hours by the time you clear Stormblood.
You want to leave The Novice Network, but you don’t know how to do it.
You can leave by clicking on the leaf symbol under your chat window and hitting the “Leave” button.
If you want to keep The Novice Network hidden from view, head to your log settings by hitting Escape. Find the General tab, and navigate down to Log Filters (General). From here, hit the chat tab and uncheck “The Novice Network”.
You won’t be able to leave the chat, but the messages will no longer show in your chat window. This can be useful if you just want a little break.
To remove your new player status, type /nastatus off.
This is a warning: if you do not become a Mentor, you will be lost forever.
