Which is great, because it adds another layer of suspense to the story.
The death of a character in a TV show leaves us feeling like they could be gone at any moment. However, it also makes us cherish them more in the long run because we know that they will be back.

25. Bam
Tower of God is an anime that follows the story of a young man named Raoh who is forced to fight for his life in a world where gods and monsters exist. The anime is full of action, adventure, and suspense. ..
This is going to be an odd pick, as I’m not sure if Bam will survive.
In the final scene of the show, the protagonist’s innocence was killed.
After entering the Tower, he gives everything he has to protect Rachel. Just before emerging victorious, the woman he cared for so much pushed him to his death.
The new owner of the building, a woman who identified herself as Jane, said that she had been forced out of her previous lease by the previous tenant, a man she described as “a jerk.” She said that the man had refused to leave when she asked him to and had refused to allow her to make any repairs to the building. She said that she was now looking for a new place to live and was considering moving into an apartment in the building.
The look on his face as he fell, looking in disbelief at the woman he loved, was definitely one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen.
24. Leone
Anime is a genre of Japanese animation that typically deals with the story of a young girl who must fight against evil forces. Akame ga Kill is an anime series that follows the story of a young girl named Akame.
This show is filled with death and violence. ..
Everyone has their own favorite death, and it’s hard to choose just one. Some people might prefer a natural death like a deer or chicken that dies naturally, while others might prefer a violent death like being stabbed in the heart or being run over by a car. No matter what the cause, every person’s favorite death is different.
The kind-hearted Sheele turned to dog food, the heroic Tatsumi or the big brother Bulat.
Leone’s death had me in tears the most because it was such a loss for the sport.
This is because most of the characters died on the battlefield, and their friends and loved ones are all crying around them.
Leone was a woman of the people who loved her country and her people.
She knew her time had come, so she strolled down to the markets to see the lively crowd one last time before dying in an alley all alone and yet content. Damn this list is hitting heavy already…
23. Byakuya Ishigami
This one is a bit different from the rest, because only a few tears were shed.
Senku, a man of science, didn’t seem too shaken up by the message. But the message was clear: he needs to step up his game. ..
Despite his father’s death thousands of years ago, the protagonist believes in himself. ..
He believed that Senku could revive the world and make sure that the future remained bright.
Senku loved his father with all of his heart, and he was always there for him. Even when he was goofy and silly, Senku always had the best intentions.
Senku showed his emotions for just a little bit, and it was beautiful. Yet so sad.
22. Shirou Fujimoto
Anime: A story of exorcism and love.
This one really hit me hard because so much guilt was thrown into the mix alongside sadness.
Rin felt so betrayed by Shirou when he died, and she couldn’t help but feel like she was left out in the final moments.
Shirou looks down at his hand that he struck Rin with. He feels guilty. ..
Rin and Yukio blame Rin, thinking their altercation made Shirou weak. And while trying to desperately help his old man, for the first time, Rin shouts out “Dad” showing just how much he truly cared for him.
The OST alone can make you cry, but the entire package is just too much. The ost alone can make you cry, but the entire package is just too much. ..
21. Sir Nighteye
Boku no Hero Academia is an anime that follows the story of Izuku Midoriya, a young boy who dreams of becoming a superhero. Despite being born with no superpowers, Izuku works hard to become the best hero he can be and eventually becomes known as “Boku no Hero Academia” or “the number one hero.” ..
Allmight was a great man who died tragically. Nighteye dedicated his life to him, wanting to change the future he saw where he would have died a happy death.
Deku, the boy who changed his own future, proved that there is still hope in the world just before he passed away. ..
“I don’t want to see a world where people are sad,” he said. “I want to see a world where people are happy.”
Sir Nighteye, a renowned hero and mentor to many, passed away after a long and prosperous life. He was known for his kind heart and strong sense of justice, and his death leaves a lasting impact on those he touched. ..
20. Ayumi Otosaka
Since Ayumi’s death, the show has been more somber and introspective.
The show “Supergirl” quickly became intense, gloomy, and dark after the death of one of the main characters. ..
The little Ayumi was backed into a corner with a box cutter. Out of fear she released her power and got crushed by the collapsed building.
Yuu was a broken man when he saw her amongst the rubble, trying to find her amongst the wreckage. He felt as though he had lost her forever.
He had always been a bit of an loner, but he never really thought about it until he started losing his purpose in life. He stopped going to work, stopped spending time with his friends, and just stopped trying to do anything.
The woman is revived later on, but this moment was a pure tear-jerker.
19. Akira Fudou
Akira’s death marked the end of the series as a whole, as everyone died except Satan/Ryo.
Ryo talks to Akira, looking back at all of their memories, recalling how he never had sympathy for anyone and how Akira was always quick to mourn a loss.
Ryo remembers being told “You’re crying too much Ryo.” ..
Ryo looks at Akira’s body that has been torn in half and realizes what it means to lose someone close to you. He finally understands sorrow.
He hugs Akira’s corpse and starts crying as the Earth is engulfed in light. ..
The ending of the story was so sad.
18. Tahoumaru
The final episode of Dororo was definitely an action-packed episode. However, it left with a pretty somber note.
Tahoumaru, the last of the Inu brothers, is left to die after a final clash with Hyakkikaru. ..
He had always wanted to know what his mother was up to, and now he finally has the answer. She’s there for him and won’t leave.
The man wanted his land to be prosperous, and was willing to give up his own brother for those means. Even though he and his brother were one and the same: broken.
Hyakkimaru had finally retrieved his body, but was now able to see the pain and suffering all around him.
The end of the battle was a dismal sight. There was no real victory here, just a bleak end.
17. Meruem
Anime: Hunter x Hunter (2011) is a popular anime that follows the story of a young boy named Gon and his friends, Hunter and Killua. The anime is full of action, adventure, and humor.
I’ll go on record and say that I have never been happier for an antagonist’s death.
Just as Meruem finally learned what it means to be alive, to be Meruem and not just the King, he has to leave this world.
Komugi, the girl that taught him all of these lessons, spends her final moments with him, trying to finally beat her at Gungi. ..
As they play in the pitch dark, Meruem asks Komugi if she was still with him repeatedly, worrying more about her life than his own.
As he draws his final breath, the man asks Komugi for one last thing: to call him by his name, to acknowledge him as a person.
16. Neji Hyuga
The death of any of the main characters in the Naruto manga or anime can be quite sad. Jiraya, Minato and Kushina, Itachi, you name it. They were all killed in some way or another, and it seems like each one had a very specific reason for being killed.
The death of Neji affected Naruto a little differently than most people.
The man who insulted Hinata and Naruto for not being as smart as he was, for denying the destiny he had laid out for them.
He had been prepared to sacrifice his own life to save the two people.
Naruto felt a lump form in his throat as he thought of all the people he had lost, people who had trusted him and been counting on him. He couldn’t protect them anymore. He was useless. Obito was right. ..
It was a really hard reality check for Naruto. And coupled with Neji’s dying expression and the beautiful soundtrack, this became my saddest death of the series.
15. Ebisu
In the manga, Bisu’s development is slow but steady. In the anime, his development is more rapid.
The death of the character I loved made me feel genuinely sad, even though initially he seemed like a classic bad guy.
It was his conversation with Yato that really made it so touching, as on the one hand Yato finally felt recognized and wanted. And on the other hand Ebisu had found his sense for living.
Ebisu had always wanted to be his current self, but it was all thanks to Yato.
After seeing Yato with little Ebisu later on, it was clear that the previous incarnation meant a lot to Yato. He tried to explain what it was like to have gone through so many lives and experiences. ..
14. Tomomi Masaoka
Tomomi and Ginoza’s relationship was very touching during the show.
Tomomi was initially uninterested in Ginoza. He labelled him a latent criminal, someone who should be avoided.
He starts to understand his old man in bits and pieces.
Unfortunately, Ginoza’s understanding of the situation was too late.
Tomomi sacrifices himself in order to save his son Ginoza. Ginoza watches his father die in front of his eyes, feeling a degree of sorrow he had never felt before.
13. Erwin Smith
Anime: Attack on Titan is a series of anime films and television shows created and produced by J.J. Abrams and David Barron. The show is set in the world of the titans, a race of giant, intelligent creatures that live on a planet that has been destroyed by an alien attack. The titans are forced to fight for their lives against an alien threat that is determined to destroy them all.
Erwin was a great leader because he was always curious.
Erwin, the only one left alive after facing the Beast Titan and a rain of boulders that had killed so many, decided to make a bold move. ..
He states how the living give meaning to the deceased, and leads a suicidal charge at the titans so that Levi can sneak up on the enemy undetected. ..
He charged straight forward, fearless, even in the face of death. He was unafraid of anything or anyone.
Erwin’s last words were, “Please, someone answer my questions.”
When a great man falls, you can’t help but shed a tear, if for no other reason than out of respect.
12. Rintarou Okabe
The eagerly anticipated Steins;Gate: The Movie is finally coming to theaters this summer. Fans of the original anime series will want to make sure they see this movie in a theater so they can experience the amazing Load Region of Déjà Vu scene. ..
In the movie “Okabe Rintarou”, Rintarou Okabe’s life was seemingly erased after he was hit by a truck. However, it has been recently revealed that he is still alive and well. This has caused a lot of confusion and speculation among fans of the movie. ..
The death of Okabe was even harder to deal with than usual. No one but Kurisu remembered that he had ever existed.
Kurisu is alone in her room, trying to cope with the pain of her recent breakup. She pulls out a copy of the manga “Hououin Kyouma” and starts to read. She begins to mimic the protagonist’s voice, feeling the comfort and warmth of Hououin’s words.
The friends of the woman who died suddenly remember her in a way that feels familiar, but they can’t quite put their finger on why. For the most part, they just feel like they’re seeing her again from a distance. But there’s something off about her now, something that doesn’t feel right.
This scene was the most unexpected and heartbreaking scene I have ever seen in anime. It definitely belongs on this list.
11. Kamina
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of the most popular anime series ever made. It tells the story of a young man named Simon who is trying to save the world from an evil force known as Lordgenome. The series is full of action, adventure, and humor. ..
Kamina was a hero who fought for the people and helped them in their time of need. He was a true friend to all, and he always put others before himself. He was an amazing person, and I am so grateful that he is my friend.
He was the life of the party and loved nothing more than getting people excited about anything. He was always up for a good time and would go out of his way to make everyone happy.
Despite his illness, Simon fought on with all his might to ensure the victory. He cared for others so much that even in his final moments he put them first. ..
The victory meant nothing to the team as they had lost the man who started it all.
The man who inspired and motivated his fellow men.
Simon was finally able to believe in himself, and not because Kamina believed in him, but belief from within.
10. Askeladd
The man who initially seemed like the end goal villain, yet turned out to be a hero.
He engaged in a final brawl in order to save Canute and Wales, sacrificing his own life in the process. This allowed the prince to stab him.
He had a bright future ahead of him, but he lost everything in the process.
Thorfinn had been a boy who had no purpose in life. He was nothing but a waste of space, and he knew it. He had no friends, no family, and no purpose in life. Thorfinn felt like he was just existing, like there was nothing left for him to do. But then one day, something changed in Thorfinn’s life. He found himself again with a purpose in life- he was now a swordsman. Thorfinn felt like his life had finally found its purpose again.
The man finally gave him closure, telling him to move on. To venture to lands ever further than those his father had been to, to become a true warrior.
With that, he had repaid every favor. ..
9. Twelve and Nine
Anime: Zankyou no Terror is a dark and suspenseful story about a young girl who is targeted by a terrorist group. She must use all of her skills and courage to survive the attack and protect her friends.
The two people were ready to put their lives on the line to show a great evil to the world.
Shibazaki had finally apprehended the terrorists he was chasing for so long. They were both shot.
Shibazaki, the last hope for justice, passed away. ..
Mishima is crying as she realizes her loved ones are no longer with her. The sound of helicopters fills the air as the news reports of their deaths fill her ears.
The conclusion to this story is chilling.
8. L
The death of L was a twisted tragedy that had many layers.
After finally starting to close the walls around Light, L falls out of his chair, never to take another breath again.
Light finally outsmarted L by manipulating Rem through Misa. ..
The worst part was that Light embraced L in his final moments, still putting on the façade that he cared for him. And stared into his eyes triumphantly, with a grin on his face.
Lachlan stared at the face of his killer, trying to understand why he did it. He knew that he had no choice, but he still couldn’t bring himself to look at it. It made him feel sick and alone, like there was nothing he could do to make things right.
He had been right all along.
7. Setsuko
Grave of the Fireflies is a heart-wrenching anime that tells the story of two siblings, Seita and Setsuko, during World War II. The siblings are forced to live in a bombed-out city with their mother and father, who are constantly fighting. Seita is determined to find a way to escape the city, but his father is too busy trying to keep them alive to worry about anything else. One day, a fire destroys their home and forces the family into a shelter. There, Seita meets a girl named Mei who helps him find hope in the midst of all the darkness. ..
Setsuko’s death was tragically realistic. ..
The little girl was hungry. She had been living in a world of luxury and security, but she was now starving. There was no food in her world, and she was desperate for it.
While visiting the doctor, her brother is simply told to feed her. Even though poverty doesn’t allow for such luxuries.
A five-year-old boy in a drought-ridden area in Kenya was able to get his mother a small piece of watermelon from a local grocery store. ..
While he was looking for food, his little sister passed away. ..
The man in the black cloak was walking down a dark alley.
The reality of how cruel the world can be towards those who society has given up on is something that is hard to stomach. These are people who have been marginalized and have had their opportunities taken away from them, and as a result, they are left with little hope. This can lead to them becoming desperate and violent, which only compounds the problem. ..
6. Jonathan Joestar
Anime fans rejoice! JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is back and better than ever! This time, the action takes place in a world of strange and fantastical creatures, including a talking cat, a giant snake, and an evil witch. With exciting new episodes released every week, don’t miss out on this must-watch series!
However, the newest season of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” has been met with mixed reviews from fans. Some say that the show is too sad, while others find it to be refreshing. The JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Season 3 has been met with mixed reviews from fans. Some say that the show is too sad, while others find it refreshing. ..
The Joestar family had been a powerful and influential family for centuries, but their decline was truly heartbreaking. Their patriarch, Jotaro Kujo, had once been one of the most successful businessmen in Japan, but his health began to decline in his late sixties. His wife and children were left to manage the business on their own, and the Joestar name slowly faded from Japanese society.
In his battle against Dio, he sacrifices himself so that Erina could live and continue on.
The saddest part is that he had no malice towards Dio. Even after everything, he thought of him as a brother.
The killer of the man was so kind-hearted that he couldn’t even hate himself. ..
The main point of this article is that the author feels sadness after the death of a loved one. They use a journalist’s writing style to make their point.
Dio was engulfed in the flames as his brother died in his arms. He lost all sense of humanity, leaving him only with the memories of his brother and the love they shared.
5. Koro-Sensei
This entire show is about the death of this man, and yet his death felt like a complete surprise to me.
The fact that the man who trained his killers was a good person overall has raised some eyebrows. ..
The last thing the students wanted to do was say goodbye, but after helping them overcome their biggest hurdle in life, it was finally time to say goodbye.
The fact that they were all on top of him, bawling their eyes out as he spoke his final words, sends tears down my face to this very day.
That world may never again see a tentacle man who is so kind-hearted and loves his family.
4. Portgas D. Ace
One Peace is a company that specializes in making people feel sad. They do this by sending them emails that make them think about death or sadness. ..
The Ace’s retrieval fight was dramatic on many levels. First, it was a race against time to find the missing aircraft before it crashed into the ocean. Second, the battle between the US and Chinese navies was fierce as each side tried to claim Ace for their own. And finally, the drama unfolded when Ace’s pilot, Lieutenant Commander Matt Sowers, made an emergency landing on an uninhabited island in the South China Sea. ..
After Whitebeard’s death, Luffy was very sad. But then he met Whitebeard’s spirit, and the two of them had a touching moment. Luffy was finally able to forgive himself for what happened to Whitebeard and they were able to reunite in peace. ..
Ace sacrificed himself in order to save the boy he loved, and took a magma arm through the chest in order to do so.
In utter shock, Luffy begs for someone to heal the fallen Ace. But it was too late.
Ace’s last words were: “Thank you, captain. Thank you, comrades. Thank you, friends.” With that final thank you, Ace was no more.
3. Sohryu Asuka Langley

The show has been highly anticipated by many and has already generated a lot of buzz. The show follows the story of a group of people who are forced to fight in a battle against an alien race known as the Angels. The characters are very likable and the story is very exciting.
The Evangelion series is sad, but Asuka’s death was probably one of the most brutal.
After finally realizing how much her mother loved her, Asuka takes on multiple Evas all on her own.
As her power is waning, she takes out one after the other.
The Rams lost to the Saints in a close game, but it wasn’t enough. The Saints had more talent and they were able to pull out the victory. ..
A group of Evas pierces through the head of a human and feast on their brain. ..
Asuka raises her hand towards the sky, pledging to kill all those in her way.
A group of warriors wielding spears jump out from behind a nearby bush and quickly surround her. ..
2. Maes Hughes
The popular anime series, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, is set in a world where alchemy is the ultimate power. The story follows two brothers who use alchemy to try and save their mother from a life of slavery. ..
Humans are able to love, something that envious creatures cannot understand or appreciate. ..
Hughes loved life to the fullest, and he was never afraid to put his all into it. He was a man who loved as much as he possibly could, and he didn’t shy away from anything. Hughes was always willing to go out on a limb and try something new, and he was always willing to have fun. He loved life to the fullest, and he didn’t care what people thought of him. Hughes was a man who loved life to the fullest, and he didn’t care what anyone thought of him.
The jury found the defendant not guilty of all charges. ..
Father had been planning to kill Hughes for weeks before he ambushed him. Envy, a new member of the church, had been following Father’s plan and had infiltrated Hughes’ church.
He manages to escape and enter a phone booth, only to be shot minutes later.
The worst part was that Envy took on the form of his wife when she pulled the trigger.
Hughes’ wife and daughter were left to mourn the loss of their husband and father, who had just passed away. Hughes apologized for not being there for them during his life, but reassured them that he loved them very much. ..
1. Lelouch Lamperouge
Lelouch paid a high price for his beliefs, and as a result, he lost the love and support of many people.
He became the target of vitriol and hate because he dared to stand up to the hate.
He wanted to create a new world where he could be the only one.
The crowd cheered as his best friend pierced his heart, his little sister clung to his arm and cried. The monster is now dead.
He smiled as his friends were now safe, and the world moved on. Ultimately, the world became better because of him.
The man in the white coat looked at the body of his friend, John, with a sense of satisfaction. He had given his life for his friend, and he was proud of it.
We can’t help but cry as someone else took on the name of Zero, and the world kept moving, leaving him in the dust.
