Despite Hollywood’s recent successes, there are still many people who believe that Hollywood is getting it wrong. One example is the Detective Pikachu movie, which was produced by one of Canada’s most successful exports, Ryan Reynolds, and the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie, which featured Jim Carrey after four years of absence from the big screen. ..
According to our survey, the majority of FandomSpot members want adaptations of games like “The Witcher” and “Fallout 4.” In fact, nearly half of respondents said they would love to see a game adaptation of the popular “Call of Duty” series. Interestingly, we also found that many FandomSpot members are not interested in movies based on video games. Only about one-third of respondents said they would be interested in seeing a movie adaptation of a game that is not a traditional console title. So what do you think? Final Fantasy XV is a live-action film following the story of Noctis and his friends, Prompto and Ignis, as they travel across the world in search of a way to save their home. The film is set within the game’s world and follows familiar plotlines but with a fresh take on the genre. Similar to Spider-Man: No Way Home, it could pay homage to those that came before by having callbacks and references to video games.

Fallout would be a post-apocalyptic survival movie in a world filled with what’s left of humanity, and what has grown from the radioactive world left behind.

10. Red Dead Redemption
In a world where the cowboy is gone, and the only way to experience the classic Western style is through video games or movies, a new take on the genre would be perfect. A RDR film that could take so many angles, like an origin story for the characters, a sequel carrying on the story, or even a retold version looking at the greatest moments of the Red Dead series.
The games featured here were all released in 2018 and we wanted to see what would happen if they were adapted for the big screen. Here are three examples of how adaptations could be made:
- “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” - This game was released in 2009 and is considered a classic. It could be turned into a movie where the protagonist is a soldier who has to fight against insurgents in Afghanistan.
- “Fallout 4” - This game was released in 2014 and follows the story of Vault Dwellers, who must escape from Vault 111 after it’s destroyed by an attack. It could be turned into a movie where the player has to explore different Vaults and find items that will help them escape.
- “Destiny 2” - This game was released in 2016 and follows the story of Guardians who must save the world from an evil being called The Taken King. It could be turned into a movie where the player has to explore different areas and defeat enemies to progress.
