When you push technology to its limits, sometimes things go wrong. For example, in 2013, a programmer at Google accidentally created a computer program that could automatically generate gibberish sentences. This program was called “Google Brain.” ..
Anime has a long and storied history of producing some of the best sci-fi around. From classics like Akira and Ghost in the Shell to more recent hits like Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online, anime has a lot to offer fans of the genre. Here are five of our favorite sci-fi anime. ..
Looking for a new sci-fi-related anime to watch? There’s bound to be something here to keep you entertained.
33. Shelter
Some people say that this type of play is cheating because it gives the player an unfair advantage. Others say that it’s just a fun way to play the game. Is it really cheating if you don’t know what the other person is doing? ..
This show is only six minutes long, but it’s an anime. In other words, it doesn’t really have a story or a beginning or end. It’s just a bunch of images and sound.
Shelter is a music video-esque short that I found on YouTube. It’s a great way to take a few minutes out of your day and enjoy some beautiful visuals.
The story is simple, but it’s also beautiful.
You’ll see how the sci-fi element comes into play once you watch it. ..
I’m trying to say that video size doesn’t matter, it’s all about the motion of the audio waves.
32. Time of Eve
However, the new show, “The Androids,” is different. It follows a group of androids who have been living among humans for years, learning about their culture and customs. They are also trying to find a way to become fully human, without losing their android identity. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Koushun Takami. It is set to air on Japanese television in early 2019. ..
When a group of people do not take the aggressive route, they may find themselves in a situation where they are not able to get what they want.
In “Time of Eve,” we see androids used as mere tools, even though they are self-aware, and are thus like second-class citizens. ..
The only place for humans and androids to be safe is at Time of Eve, where they are treated as equals.
The movie portrays androids in a new light, and really makes you question why it’s always “OK Google” but never “Are you OK Google?”
31. Casshern Sins
The show is a strange mix of action and philosophical discourse. ..
The story follows a group of humans who cling to life on a dying Earth. They are forced to fight for survival against androids who have taken over the planet.
An android, known as the protagonist, is hit with the amnesia stick. The protagonist has to relearn what it means to live, to die, to love, and to suffer. ..
The catch is that some people believe eating the protagonist, Casshern, will grant them immortality.
At least one person per episode tries to attack Robo-Ban, and between these fights we get to question what life means to us. Each episode brings a new perspective on the meaning of life, as Robo-Ban is challenged in new ways. ..
The pairing of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade has been odd, but it has also been brilliant. ..
30. God Eater
I really enjoyed this show.
Thematically, the novel is about a young man’s journey from innocence to experience. The author uses a unique and interesting style that quickly becomes addicting.
In the world after a pandemic wipes out most of the population, a small group of survivors must band together to try and rebuild. This is done by scavenging for food and supplies, as well as fighting off the aliens who are always looking to take advantage of the situation. ..
A special unit is created to deal with these monstrosities. This is all you need to know to get started. ..
The beginning of this novel is slow, but it picks up quickly once it gets going. Plot armor begins to thin out as the book goes on.
The story is about a young man who is determined to save his family from a life of poverty. He takes on all the challenges that come with this goal, including working hard and being creative. Despite the obstacles, he continues to fight for what’s right, even when it seems like there’s no way he can win.
29. Ergo Proxy
Ergo Proxy is a show that has the most complex elements in its world, but still produces a very straight forward/easily digestible story. The story is told through the eyes of a proxy character, who is forced to relive events from the perspective of someone else. This makes for an interesting and unique experience, and one that you never knew you needed.
In a world where a few humans live with help of their androids, the story follows one man as he struggles to survive in a world that has been destroyed.
The androids start becoming aware of themselves, and begin to question their place in the world.
The mystery of what happened next is a major part of the appeal of this book. It’s a world that’s still largely unknown to us, and it’s up to the reader to piece together what happened in between the events of the first book and the end of this one.
If you’re looking for a gritty psychological, mechanical, and ethical thriller, then you should definitely check out this film. ..
28. Serial Experiments Lain
If you enjoyed Ergo Proxy, then you’ll love Serial Experiments Lain. It’s likely to be even more enjoyable for you. ..
The mystery of what happened to the human race is still a topic of debate, more than 50 years after the first humans were born on Mars. Some say that the human race was destroyed by an alien race known as the Androids, while others believe that the human race may have been saved by a group of people known as The Knights. Whatever happened to humanity, it definitely has its roots set in technology and mystery.
Lain is deeply disturbed by the email and decides to investigate further. She finds out that the classmate had been struggling with mental health issues for a long time and that no one had been able to help her. Lain decides to take action and start a campaign to raise awareness about mental health issues. ..
This anime leads the protagonist into a world of conspiracies and the Internet, called “the Wire”.
Suddenly, there are black men following her. They seem to know more than they should, and it’s a steep mystery-riddled ride from there.
27. Castle in the Sky
Studio Ghibli films are some of the most immersive experiences you can have in cinema. They’re filled with beautiful visuals and memorable characters that will stay with you long after the film is over. If you’re looking for a truly unique cinematic experience, look no further than Studio Ghibli films. ..
Castle in the Sky is a movie about the industrial revolution and how it changed the way we live.
The MC is being hunted by the government for her mysterious necklace. ..
This show is a journey that takes you on a real journey. You see the sky and for a second, you actually see the flying castle Laputa. This show is a great experience that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who isn’t interested in learning more about the world.
26. GATE
But what about the tech that’s actually here, right now? In this episode of “The Mindy Project,” we take a look at some of the coolest and most advanced tech ever developed.
We have some pretty crazy tech nowadays! From flying cars to giant robot suits, and everything in between. ..
GATE is a reminder that when the fantasy world of monsters clashes with the modern gun-heavy world, it’s often not pretty. ..
This anime is a battle between modern science and fiction. It would be a crime to not list it here.
25. Gantz: 0
Gantz’s 0 is a stunning achievement in the field of CG animation.
The animation is slick and it never broke my immersion with polygon pixel paloozas.
The movie has a very “isekai” feeling to it. But instead of the usual RPG fantasy world, our protagonists are locked, loaded and ready to kill some aliens. ..
The action is decent, but it avoids the Michael Bay treatment. ..
If you’re interested in the concept but have Berserk flashbacks, you can watch the anime version. ..
The protagonist is a young woman who is forced to leave her home after her father is diagnosed with a terminal illness. She must find new ways to cope with the news and the fact that she will not be able to see him anymore.
24. Inuyashiki
MC is abducted by aliens and has her body modified in a process that leaves her with a full-fledged cyborg body. ..
Ichirou gets the Walter White setup. He’s sure to agree after watching the show. ..
He takes the initiative to help others, instead of going down the path of selfishness.
Another man gets cyber-enhanced and blows things up. ..
In a battle of technology and ideals, one that’s absolutely worth checking out, two teams of experts clash in an epic battle to see who will be the first to create a truly advanced technology. Their fight is for control of the future, and for the sake of humanity.

England is going to take over the world again. This new energy source can be used in a plethora of ways, some of which we can already see happening. For example, England is going to become a superpower again and become the center of the world. Other countries will follow England’s lead and become powerful as well. steampunk is just one way this new energy source can help make this happen.
The inventor’s son has worked tirelessly to ensure that his father’s groundbreaking technology does not fall into the wrong hands. ..
22. Speed Grapher
A scientist has developed a way to gain powers by using a virus.
In this show, through some viruses and bodily fluids, you get a power that closely resembles your kinks. Yep.
Our main journalist boy is known for his ability to make people explode with just a picture. ..
The speed grapher is strange in that it’s very slow but also incredibly realistic when it comes to the 1%. It’s like watching paint dry, but with more action.
Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign has been nothing if not ambitious. From his early days as a long-shot candidate, Sanders has pushed the envelope, and this year was no exception. Sanders released a new ad on Sunday that is sure to get attention. Titled “The Future,” the ad features Sanders as the protagonist in an anime-style action movie set in the future. The plot follows Sanders as he tries to save the world from a powerful villain who wants to destroy it using advanced technology. The ad is bizarre and creative, and it’s clear that Sanders was inspired by anime when he made it. It’s an interesting departure from traditional political ads, and it’s sure to get people talking. ..
21. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Ghost in the Shell is a crime show where the “C” stands for Cyborg. The show follows the case of a woman who is turned into a cyborg after being shot in the head.
In this story, the police are trying to find a way to stop the criminals from using these augmentations to commit crimes. They are also trying to find a way to get the public to accept these augmentations as a normal part of life.
The show is episodic, but it quickly becomes more narrative-heavy as the bad guy comes to the scene.
The chase begins as a cat meanders through the forest, but quickly turns into a race as the mouse tries to outrun the cat. The game is sure to keep you entertained as you follow the two characters around and try to catch them.
20. The Promised Neverland
The Promised Neverland is a novel that tells the story of a future society in which people are kept in line by a strict code of values and rules. However, this society is not what it seems. The book begins with the discovery of a secret underground world where people can be anything they want to be, and where they can do anything they want to do. This world is called The Promised Neverland, and it is an utopia that the author has created.
It’s just a bunch of kids playing tag.
We soon learn that the world we’re seeing is far from sunshine, rainbows, and humans. ..
The show has an eerie atmosphere and a gripping plot. The main characters are children, which makes the story all the more heart-wrenching. ..
We are currently watching the anime, but we hope that the second season will arrive soon so that we can learn more about the hell hole these kids live in.
19. Dr. Stone

The setting is a post-apocalyptic Earth where most of humanity is reduced to stone. And the driving plot element is the question of what happened to the missing scientists. ..
Since the invention of the light bulb, we’ve only seen technology in our everyday lives. ..
The process of making something from nothing is something that is so fascinating and mesmerizing. It’s like watching a machine work, and it’s so fascinating to see how everything comes together to create something new.
Bill Nye is like a contestant on Survivor, but he also has an ego.
Science can be really interesting, and there are even some cool fight scenes in shows like this. ..
18. Parasyte
It’s time for some good old-fashioned alien hostile takeover action. ..
The company’s marketing strategy is to literally take over your brain and use you like a vessel. ..
The protagonist of the story is unlucky enough to have a parasitic infection that causes him to have a less than competent mind.
Shinichi Izumi and his friend, the parasite, have a complicated relationship. Shinichi wants to live a normal life, but the parasite gets quite murder-y from time to time.
I was about to head out to the station when I heard a knock on the door. I went to answer it, and there was a cop waiting for me. He said he needed to talk to me. I didn’t know what to say, so I let him in. He told me that he had something important to tell me.
The two superheroes team up to solve a problem. That’s fun.
17. Made in Abyss
In the world of science fiction, sentient robots are becoming more and more common. They’re often seen as a replacement for human beings, or as a way to explore new and exciting possibilities in technology. But while these robots may seem like perfect creatures in theory, they can also be quite dangerous if not treated with care.
This has led some experts to believe that the robot may not be able to fully understand or comply with human commands. ..
We’re on a wild adventure, and it’s going to be a lot of fun!
The world has ended.
Your Made in Abyss souffle is done!
Just let the fridge cool down in the way more dark than the art style would lead you to believe, and it’s ready to eat.
The show has a great atmosphere and there is an almost tangible mystery surrounding it. ..
16. Code Geass
Revolution stories are more exciting and engaging than underdog stories. They’re about people fighting for change, and they always have a sense of urgency. ..
This anime is known for its dark and mysterious elements, and Code Geass is no exception. It follows the story of a group of rebels who try to overthrow the government of Japan from within.
Lelouch is a tall, good-looking boy with a mysterious power called Geass. ..
With the new technology, he can issue a command to anyone he’s making eye contact with.
Theresa May used a speech to the Conservative Party conference to announce that the United Kingdom will leave the European Union. She said that the decision was made in order to protect British jobs and businesses, and to ensure that Britain is a better place for its people.
In this world, there are a lot of mechs flying around. So be ready for some action and explosions.
15. Legend of the Galactic Heroes
This show is great for anyone who enjoys animation.
Space is a vast and lonely place. It’s a place where you can’t see the sun, or the stars. It’s a place where you can only hear the silence. And that’s what makes space so special. It’s a place where you can explore and find new things, even if they’re not always easy to find. That’s what makes space so amazing.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it.
The show has a vast cast, but also a large death count. So be prepared for the inevitable.
The popular TV series Game of Space Thrones has been crushing the ratings for decades, so if you’re ready for some intense action, be sure to give it a watch.
14. The Irregular at Magic High School
The story of a young woman who moves to a small town in the middle of nowhere and falls in love with the magic of high school.
In this universe, magic is very systematic and technical. It makes the whole experience more futuristic than whimsical.
Kirito and his friend, Underachiever, are always in competition with each other. But this time around, the Underachiever is actually a hidden OP Kirito God. This makes for an interesting story as it introduces a new layer to the series that we haven’t seen before.
The show is a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see what else it has in store.
13. Black Bullet
Prior to 2020, Black Bullet was more entertainment and less of a horror story. However, these days it is more of a horror story. ..
In the show, a virus starts spreading throughout the world at an alarming rate. And humanity has a hard time dealing with it. This is similar to what is happening in the world today. ..
This virus turns people into rampaging monsters that rampage through the city.
In this show, units are created to battle these monsters. They’re injected with the monster’s blood in order to gain some of its power, so amazing fight scenes will be in place.
The explanation for their strange behavior might seem all over the place, but trust me, it all makes sense inside of their world. ..
12. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
If you were given the opportunity to travel through time, what would you do?
Morty, a 26-year-old man, has been hospitalized dozens of times in the past year for attempting suicide. He has also been known to pull trivial things like repeatedly turning on and off lights or fiddling with objects. ..
The question of whether or not to ignore the power and live in the present has been a topic of debate for years. Some people believe that it is important to live in the present because it is the only time that we have. Others believe that we should live in the past because it is more comfortable and familiar. The question of whether or not to ignore the power and live in the present has always been a topic of debate.
Our MC, who was given these options, chose to screw around.
Butterflies always seem to ruin our fun!
The movie is very fun to watch. It has this cozy feeling that makes it enjoyable. Plus, who doesn’t like some time travel shenanigans? ..
11. From the New World
With great power comes great responsibility. For decades, the people have had to abide by oppressive regulations if they want to use their powers for good. If these responsibilities aren’t met, the people can suffer for it. ..
The New World is filled with sychics, those who have mastered the art of mind control.
The majority of people in the United States fill up their tanks with gasoline every day. I say “filled” although they’re the minority, but stick with me.
A recent trend in superpowered individuals is the rise of psychics, who are now heavily ‘regulated’. This is in part due to the fear that these individuals will cause harm to others or themselves. There are now many organizations that try to keep psychics in check, with special academies being set up to help those who want to use their powers for good.
The story follows the protagonist, a young girl, as she navigates her way through a new world where she doesn’t quite fit in. She must find out the secrets that surround her and learn to navigate this new world. ..
10. Akira
Akira is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys anime. This unique and exciting series offers a unique and exciting experience that is sure to please any fan of the genre.
Science fiction is one of the most popular genres of speculative fiction, with a long and illustrious history. It typically deals with imaginative and futuristic concepts such as advanced science and technology, space exploration, time travel, parallel universes, and extraterrestrial life. ..
This late 80s classic shows us the punkiest of worlds, and some of the most beautiful hand drawn animation there is. It’s a must-watch for anyone who loves animation, and for anyone who wants to see what the future of art looks like.
The movie is definitely character-driven, but the visual spectacle and detailed gore of some of the fights can easily sell it just on that. ..
This movie is constantly on my lists, and I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to spend an evening.
9. Kiznaiver
This is a question that has been asked throughout history and it continues to be asked today. It is a question that has been debated by philosophers and theologians. The answer to this question is difficult to determine because it depends on the individual’s perspective. ..
The show, “Stranger Things” is about a group of children who are used as lab rats in order to achieve world peace. ..
I enjoyed the show because it was a philosophy show.
Kiznaiver is a manga series written and drawn by Yūsuke Watanabe. The story follows the adventures of a boy named Kiznaiver, who is unable to feel pain or emotions. Despite this, he is a very likable character, and many people enjoy reading his stories.
The experiments put this statement to the test later on, as well as some extreme group bonding. The results showed that when people are forced to work together, they form tighter bonds than when they are not working together. ..
8. Re: Creators
You might be thinking that this new book sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun. And you would be right! It’s packed with action and adventure, making it the perfect read for any fan of fiction. ..
In the world of Re: Creators, people create their own characters and can even meet them. This popular online game has gained popularity in recent years, and has helped people connect with one another.
This phrase is often used to describe a person who has died, or is about to die. It can be a way of saying goodbye, or letting someone know that they are in control of their own life.
The antagonist in this story was a crazy chick with a dope hat and flying swords who was the driving force behind the plot.
I’m a fan of Re: Creators, and it has everything I love in sci-fi and action.
7. Terra e…
This anime is a space opera that follows the story of a group of people who are trying to save the galaxy from an impending doom. The story is full of action and drama, as well as some fantastical elements.
In a future where Earth is uninhabitable, humans have evolved into two separate races: normies and psychic badasses. Normies are the people who live on the surface of the planet, while psychic badasses live in underground colonies. The psychic badasses are able to use their powers to control the weather, create earthquakes, and more. ..
Humans are competitive by nature, so when they found out that one of them had powers, they fought over who was better. This led to a lot of tension and conflict. ..
At least if we keep melting the ice caps and taking Elon’s trip to outer space, we might be able to bend spoons.
6. Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann
Gurren Lagann is one of the most popular mecha shows on television. It’s a unique show with an interesting story that I enjoy very much.
The battle between humans and Beastmen is a fierce one, with both sides fighting for control of the underground villages. The Beastmen are powerful and have been ruling the surface for years, but they are not content with their rule. They want to take over the villages and make them their own, but the humans are determined to stay alive and protect their homes. This battle will determine who will be able to control the surface of the world in future.
This is all made possible by the mechs they found along the way, as well as a mysterious little drill necklace.
The character writing in this show is amazing. Kamina is the loudest, and somehow least annoying protagonist ever to grace the screen. And Yoko is an absolutely beautiful red-head. ..
I really enjoyed the second half of the show. The plot got more serious and we even got some politics mixed in with our screaming mech battles.
5. Megalo Box
This anime is all about two teams of aliens who are fighting for control of a planet. The action is intense and the story is exciting, making it a must-watch for anyone who enjoys sci-fi and sports anime.
In Megalo Box, the protagonist must climb the ladder to face the best of the best. This underdog story features a strong and determined protagonist who will do whatever it takes to get where she wants to go.
The name of the game in boxing is to land punches. And the sci-fi element is the use of robotic enchantments. ..
In a world of fast-paced action and exciting stories, Rocky and his Autobots come to meet their match. They team up with the Decepticons to take on an evil organization that is trying to destroy the world. This is a story of adventure, danger, and love.
This is your introduction to the game. It’s important to understand what you’re getting yourself into before you start, so let’s get started.
The story is compelling, and you’ll be hooked from the first episode. If you’re not a fan of action shows, I recommend watching it in chunks so that you can get your fill.
4. Neon Genesis Evangelion
I can’t really finish this list without throwing in at least one more big mech papa show.
Evangelion is one of the best shows ever made. It’s dark, it’s intense, and it’s full of suspense.
Some people prefer their robots to be fleshy with damage clearly visible. ..
The story gets brutal, and honestly, the entire cast could go for a therapist at some point. So it also scores a lot of “same” points. ..
Asuka is a strong female lead. ..
3. Steins;Gate
In a world where time travel is possible, I believe that the ability to go back and change history would be one of the most powerful tools a sci-fi writer could possess.
The novel presents time travel in an amazing way, with a fun and entertaining story.
But what if you took all of those plot points and mashed them together into one big, unstoppable force? What if time travel was actually a reality, and the butterfly effect was just a figment of your imagination? That’s where the idea for “The Butterfly Effect” comes in. A story about a group of people who travel back in time to fix things that have gone wrong, only to find out that everything has changed already and they’re not the only ones who are affected. They’re the only ones who can see it.
The personal impact of the recession is felt most acutely by people who are already struggling. The job market has been tough for everyone, but especially for those who have low incomes and no benefits. The recession has made it harder for people to get by, and it’s left many people feeling like they’re in a difficult position.
The show is about Okabe’s struggles with time travel, and how he tries to make sense of the world he’s living in. It’s a complex and difficult issue, and the show makes it clear that there are many ways to approach it.
Kurisu is one of the best female mains out there.
I’m not afraid to take on anyone who tries to tell me otherwise.
2. Psycho-Pass
The show has a simple yet brilliant concept - a world where the government has created a serum that makes people psychotic, and they must use their mental powers to survive. It’s an interesting premise, and the show does an excellent job of exploring it. The characters are well-drawn and the plot is compelling.
The machine proves that the person guilt-trips was actually responsible for the accident.
The new facial recognition technology is able to scan your face and determine whether you have any criminal intent. If the technology determines that you do, you may be judged according to the results. ..
Justice is not a one-dimensional concept. ..
Akane, a young woman, realizes the flaws in the justice system and does her best to uphold it.
I’m not sure what you’re getting at. This sounds like a great series concept to me. ..
1. Cowboy Bebop
Cowboy Bebop is a popular anime series that has been around for many years. It is known for its unique and stylish animation.
The show is a showcase for some great character writing, some funky music, and a meticulous art style.
The show is a great way to get people interested in the world of tabletop roleplaying games. ..
The cast of “The Crown” is quite diverse, with each character getting a turn in the spotlight as their past is revealed bit-by-bit.
The novel has a wide cast of characters, all of whom are given their own unique story to tell. This makes for a lot of interesting plot possibilities, as well as opportunities for the writers to explore different aspects of space travel and its effects on society.
I’m pretty sure they took each one.
