Anthropomorphic rabbits have been overdone in popular culture. There’s Bugs Bunny, Roger Rabbit, Judy Hopps, the Energizer Bunny – and the Broodals just can’t compare to any of them in terms of character design.

Mido, the bossy Kokiri who would block Link’s path to the Deku Tree at the beginning of Majora’s Mask. ..

He’s a xenophobe who treats Link as an outsider and probably bullies him off-camera, and he goes so far as to blame Link for the tree’s death after you risk your life to kill Gohma.
After Ganondorf plunges the world into ruin, Mido finally reflects on his actions and apologizes to Link – but it’s too little, too late. ..
11. Groose – TLoZ: Skyward Sword
Groose is a mean and aggressive young man who views himself as the superior Link. He is a bully and intimidator who regularly terrorizes other kids in Skyloft. Groose is a notorious figure in the game, and his actions have caused many problems for others.
The problem is that Groose’s rivalry with the other Pokémon trainers is causing problems. ..
Link will do whatever it takes to put down Zelda – even if it means going to great lengths.
This eventually leads him to steal Link’s Loftwing, which is a criminal act at this point.
In the end, Groose is redeemed and I think he was better than he seemed at the beginning of the game. He had some good moments, but his past behavior was pretty bad. He deserved to be punished for it, but I think he got a bit of a redemption arc.
10. Angry Sun – Super Mario Bros. 3
People can be drawn to characters for a variety of reasons, but it doesn’t take a complex personality to hate them. All you need is a little bit of anger and resentment, and you’re good to go. ..

These Olympic-level hammer throwers are among Bowser’s most annoying members because they are very strong and can throw the hammer extremely far.
Mario’s nightmare has always been the Bowser brothers. They’ve been his #1 nightmare since World 3-1 of the original SMB.
On the other hand, they’re hated as a symbol of the gaming industry’s current state – where developers are willing to put in anything to make money, no matter how dangerous or uncomfortable it may be.
8. Tom Nook – Animal Crossing
Animal Crossing is full of people who are kind and helpful, but also plenty of people who are mean and cruel.
Tom Nook is a character in the game who presents himself as a force of good who’ll help you get settled into your new life, before forcing you into a massive debt you’ll spend the early game trying to pay back.
Tanuki are a symbol of capitalism because they are used as indentured servants in order to afford a home in a small town. ..
That’s not even mentioning that he works his young nephews Timmy and Tommy into the ground with no regard for anti-child labor laws.
There’s a strong argument for those who don’t like Mr. Nook because he’s a terrible storeowner.
7. Baby Mario – Super Mario Series
But what if you could make the baby stop crying? What if you could make them happy? That’s what we’re going to do.
It can be hardwired into our DNA to compel us to actually get up and go see what the baby needs – but when it’s a digital baby, the parts of us that make us love them regardless don’t work. ..
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island was a game released in 1995 that became such a hated figure back when it first came out because Baby Mario would cry incessantly throughout the game.
The sound of the woman’s voice was shrill and obnoxious – not to mention very repetitive.
It’s a soundless game that you play with no one else around.
6. Marx – Kirby Super Star
Marx is an adorable jester with a bow tie and an innocent facial expression that makes you want to pinch his cheeks. He’s the kind of character who always has a smile on his face, no matter what the situation. He’s a great addition to any party, and he’s sure to make your day.
The villain in this story is a manipulative and deceptive individual who will do anything to achieve their goals. They are a threat to everyone they meet, and will use any means necessary to achieve their goals.
In video games, betrayal is a common occurrence. But when you look at Marx’s idiotic face after he’s transformed into the final boss of the Milky Way Wishes campaign, it’ll spark fiery hate within you.
5. Slippy Toad – Star Fox 64
In a recent game, players are asked to help a weakling multiple times. The player is then given the option to decline each time, or even refuse the request altogether. This choice sets the tone for the rest of the game, which is one of heroism and selflessness.
Many gamers are not bothered by the fact that many of the characters in video games possess a shrill and annoying voice – like Slippy Toad from the Star Fox series. ..
Fox and Slippy have been friends for a long time. In 1993, Slippy made his first appearance in the game Star Fox, but it was in the game Star Fox 64 that he became famous for demanding assistance over and over.
Some people went as far as to shoot Slippy down themselves as soon as possible, and I don’t blame them.

Ness is a poor choice for a party member. He’s not very good at being friendly or working well with others, and he often uses Ness as a shield. That means he’s not likely to be helpful in any way. ..
In the aftermath of that event, he becomes increasingly evil – slowly drifting further into darkness until becoming the universe-destroying baddie’s right-hand man.
He’s definitely a well-written villain - but he’s also profoundly loathsome, earning him a high spot on our ranking. ..

You take a seat and begin to fill out your Pokédex. After a few minutes, you notice someone walking in who looks very familiar. It’s your childhood friend, Ash Ketchum! He’s come back to town after traveling around the world! Ash walks over and greets you, and you two start catching Pokémon together. The day goes by quickly and before you know it, it’s time for lunch. You head over to the local restaurant and sit down with Ash. After eating, you decide to go outside and catch some more Pokémon. As you walk around town, you see that Ash has already caught most of the ones that are common in your area. You start catching more Pokémon as the day goes on, but eventually run out of Poké Balls. You go back into the restaurant to get some more, but find that they’re all gone too! Suddenly, an idea hits you: maybe if you trade your old Poké Balls with Ash he can still use them! So you do just that and continue catching Pokémon together until it’s time for dinner. After dinner, it’s time for bed; but before going to sleep, you decide to check your Trainer Card online to see how many badges Ash has earned so far in his travels around the world. As luck would have it, he has earned all eight badges needed for Level 100! You smile as sleep finally claims you… You wake up early on a Saturday morning at a local Pokémon Center only to find out that childhood friend Ash Ketchum is there too along with all of his other Trainers friends including Pikachu who is now level 10 from when last seen years ago when both of were just starting out as Trainers ..
