Some provocative, emotional and down-right raunchy scenes! But we weren’t content with just the survey findings - we wanted to know how sexy these scenes were. So we enlisted some more help from experts in this field. Turns out, these scenes are pretty darn sexy! ..
We asked 50 people from the FandomSpot community to sit in a room by themselves and watch the 50 scenes which were voted the “sexiest” – all to reveal which one actually got pulses racing the most.
After conducting two weeks of scientific research, it was discovered that scenes which resulted in an increase in heart rates were the most arousing to viewers. Additionally, research from the American Heart Association has found that when a person is emotionally aroused, their pulse rises. ..
To ensure that the study was representative of all adults, candidates were selected from a range of backgrounds, locations, gender, sexual orientations and ages (ranging between 18 and 72).
All participants were asked to watch all clips alone in a seated position, so no external elements could affect their heart rates and they were also asked to provide medical details so we could register their normal resting heart rate.
