We’ve seen some really strong demons so far, and we’re looking through & ranking them. The strongest ones are the ones that have killed the most people.
10. Kyogai
This guy used to be a lower-class fighter, but he was kicked out for being too weak. He’s definitely better than any nameless fodder demons, but he falls short when compared to other named fighters.
For two, he has a lot of charisma and a strong following. This is what allows him to get away with what he does.
If he doesn’t finish you off in the first minute or so, his chances of victory fall dramatically if he’s not using his full arsenal.
This is because even a monkey would eventually learn which drum does what – and would therefore be ready to counter any move. ..
The drum that only does damage is an advantage.
He can up the tempo quite a bit, so he’d probably still destroy any demon other than the following nine.
9. Susamaru
In my opinion, Yahaba needed Susamaru more than he needed her. That’s because the second you take his arrows away, her Demon Art just becomes stupid. ..
Kicking heavy objects or people can achieve the same effect as using a weapon. ..
Kyogai is a powerful swordsman and he has a lot of experience fighting in close quarters. If she were to fight him in close quarters, she would most likely lose.
Despite her small size, Nezuko is still able to hold her own against most upper-rank demons. Her fighting style is not very creative, and so she often falls victim to stronger opponents. ..
However, I’ll say that she’s more difficult for most demon slayers as slicing up all six balls at once can be a bit difficult.
8. Rui
But on the ground, she is a powerless woman.
After all, his threads are very hard to see and can chop off limbs with little issue.
Not only can he cover an entire battlefield with his swords, but he can also catch his opponent off guard when they charge in to attack. This makes him a powerful fighter who is hard to beat.
It would definitely give Susamaru a lot of problems, as her balls would be trapped in the strings and Kyogai would probably chop his arm off by accident while trying to bang his drum.
Rui is surprisingly durable – even being able to detach his head in order to avoid serious damage.
Both higher-ranking demons and demon slayers completely bypass his fighting style.
In terms of strength, he couldn’t even chop apart a weakened Nezuko. And we’ve seen a Hashira cut through his threads like butter. ..
The new character is definitely a threat, and should be taken into account when planning your next strategy.
7. Yahaba
Although Yahaba might not seem all that strong, I think he deserves more respect because he is a brave and determined man.
I think that because his Demon Art seems to be difficult to deal with, it might be a good idea to watch out for him. After all, he can just toss you around like a ragdoll until you get a good understanding of his attacks. ..
Demons are a nuisance for demon slayers, as they can often be difficult to kill. ..
If you’re human, his first attack could be used to fling the sword out of your hand - potentially stabbing you with it. ..
If you’re a demon, he can theoretically just prolog the fight and then yelp you into the sunlight so that you burn to a crisp. ..
This method isn’t foolproof, but I still think his utility is worth a shoutout.
With his tracking skills, he can potentially bring the fight to you and make sure that his win condition is as optimal as possible.
6. Daki
Daki and Gyutaro were two difficult to rank individuals. So, I’ll view them separately and add a tenacity bonus to their stats.
Daki’s kit is oppressive because it limits the freedom of people.
She can attack you from a pretty decent range and do some serious damage while doing it. Not to mention that she can also do her best Spider-Man impression and maneuver around the battlefield. ..
However, if you manage to get close – she isn’t all that deadly.
After all, we’ve seen a powered-up Nezuko easily wipe the floor with her once she got close enough. ..
Still, I don’t think any of the previous four demons would be capable of that. Her speed isn’t all that bad, and if we account for her dual link tenacity – she can be quite the handful.
5. Enmu
This one I’m not sure about.
After all, we haven’t really seen the full extent of his power just yet. He’s still a mystery to many.
We’ve seen that he’s a troublesome demon, and we’re not sure why.
Kyogai can take over an entire train and launch constant attacks regardless of where the enemy is positioned.
The sleeping spell that Thea seems to have is incredibly potent – putting most people to sleep immediately unless they see it coming and have a strong mind.
Not to mention that Enmu is also surprisingly decent at hand-to-hand combat. He didn’t do anything too flashy but even just sparring with Tanjiro shows a great amount of skill.
The character has a power ceiling, meaning he can only go further up on the list of powerful characters. ..
4. Gyutaro
Gyutaro is a little bit cracked, if I’m being honest. ..
In close combat, he easily matches a Hashira. That alone makes him quite the powerhouse. It also explains how he’s killed dozens of Hashira prior to the series. ..
He’s a decent fighter, but his ranged attacks are quite good. He can use his Kama to control his flesh, so he can’t be easily defeated by ranged attacks.
That’s a pretty serious threat, and one that you need to take seriously.
The enemy’s death is a valuable asset in this fight.
If Nezuko is not around, then a tie would be the worst-case scenario. ..
Daki is a very determined and innovative character, and he outclasses all of the other characters so far by a significant margin.
3. Nezuko Kamado
Nezuko is a demon who became a psychopathic adult and shot up through the ranks.
Daki was the target of constant verbal abuse from her classmate, Sarah. ..
We’ve seen her take care of Gyutaro’s poison, so we can assume that she would be able to beat him as well.
- The economy is in a recession.
- The government is cutting back on spending.
- People are losing their jobs and their homes. ..
Number two, she’s fast and agile. She can outrun most demons and even some of the stronger ones. Her strength is also impressive, making her a threat even when unarmed.
Her healing factor is on par with the Upper demon ranks. In fact, it might even be comparable to Upper Rank 3 (as she restores entire limbs instantly).
Third, her Demon Art is devastating. Not only can she set demons (and humans) on fire easily, but it also can’t be healed (as we saw with Daki). ..
The benefits of a strong family unit include a better chance for success in life. ..
2. Akaza
In terms of raw stats, I think Akaza is comparable to adult Nezuko.
He’s a superhuman, and we don’t know what he does.
However, the killer does not massacre Nezuko in one key compartment – skill. The killer is a skilled martial artist, with actual technique backed up by his devastating punches.
Nezuko relies on brute strength while the other girls use their agility and cunning. ..
Not only does Akaza’s Demon Art make his punches much more powerful, but it can also be used to confuse the enemy.
The fact that he is still alive means that he will likely become even more powerful once Muzan gives him some of the Kool-Aid. ..
Akaza’s kit is not all that flashy, but it is reliable and consistent. Who needs venom or threads when you can just beat someone to death with your fists?
1. Muzan Kibutsuji
Who else could’ve been in the lead if the game were fair?
This dude is a walking disaster. Demons flee in terror at the mere mention of his name, and any human unlucky enough to cross his path soon finds themselves with an extra ally in the fight against evil. ..
Not only is he fast, but he can also teleport around with how quick he is. He can one-shot even high-ranked demons.
The demon king is a powerful being, but he’s not the one who’s in control because of his diplomatic skills. He’s the one who can do things that no one else can.
