24. Joshu Higashikata

Joshu is a complex and interesting character in JoJolion. He is the middle child of the Higashikata family, and suffers from inferiority due to his lack of height. Joshu is a determined individual who works hard to improve himself, even if it means working against the grain. He is a fascinating character who provides an interesting perspective on the story.

Yasuho is a very reserved and standoffish person, as his autism likely means. However, he can be way too overbearing and intrusive when it comes to his (and the protagonist, Josuke) love interest, Yasuho.

He can make people act as though they are machines, or things, by manipulating them with his Stand.

23. Jonathan Joestar

Jonathan started the whole thing off by coming into the office and telling everyone that he was going to fire everyone.

He is the perfect action hero for those who love Western movies and manga from the 80s and 90s. He is noble, honest, and has a stubborn yet well-mannered personality. ..

Joseph doesn’t have a Stand. Though if he did, it would likely be similar to the Purple Hermit’s. ..

Jonathan is a refreshing change of pace, and his core tenants can be felt throughout all of the Joestar bloodline.

The Stand users are vicious and antagonistic, but ultimately heroic. Their Stand creates a fleshlike substance that can be used to generate and distort abilities like assaultive and defensive capabilities.

19. Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli

In Part 2: Battle Tendency, Caesar is the JoBro of Part 2 and a rival and companion to Joseph Joestar in the fight against the Pillar Men. Caesar is a powerful fighter with a sharp mind and an unyielding determination. He is a skilled strategist and has a deep understanding of battle tactics.

Joseph is a brave and heroic man, prioritizing noble decency over trickery. He is different from Hezekiah, who was cowardly and deceptive.

He’s a short-tempered man, but he can also be very angry and destructive.

He is a Hamon Ripple style fighter, using bubbles to create diverse combative abilities at short and long ranges.

In Part 5: Diamond is Unbreakable, we follow the story of Shinji Ikari, who is trying to find a way to break the seal that has been put on his planet by a powerful organization. Along the way, he meets new people and makes some powerful friends.

He is a teenage student with a brash personality and a heart for protecting and healing those in danger. ..

In his stand, Crazy Diamond, the character can reset or reconfigure a person or item’s physical properties. This makes him a more supportive character, which is reflective of his role in the story as he often takes a step back to allow others the spotlight.

Josuke is a perfect foe to Yoshikage Kira because he represents the social side of life that Kira lacks. Josuke is able to see the good in people, which is something that Kira cannot do. ..

16. Narancia Ghirga

Narancia is a young man with a sad and tragic childhood. He is brash and airheaded, and has a difficult time understanding the world around him.

14. Jean Pierre Polnareff

Polnareff is looking to avenge his sister who was murdered by a man with two right hands. He’s been searching for clues and evidence for months, and he’s finally ready to take action. He meets up with Stardust Crusaders at the beginning of the story, and he’s eager to help out.

He is a Frenchman with a noble sense of justice and a heroic heart. Throughout the part, we find him experiencing culture shock repeatedly. ..

Despite being the comedic relief of the group, he can also carry many arcs on his own shoulders. And when push comes to shove, he’s handy in action with the help of his Stand, [Silver Chariot].

13. Jolyne Cujoh

Jolyne is the daughter of Jotaro, a passionate and loudmouthed young man. She is energetic and always outspoken, but she is also heroic in her actions.

She possesses her father’s brashness and determination. At the beginning, she’s in prison for a murder she was a part of. But she comes to realize her imprisonment is part of a larger scheme orchestrated by the warden. ..

Norisuke is a professional plant appraiser and a contact of Heiji when his services are required.

Josuke is looking for the Rocacaca fruit and ends up being one of his closest allies.

He uses his Stand, Doggy Style, much like Jolyne does with her Stone Free, by unraveling his body like an apply peel. ..

He’s a fascinating character whose role is equally unraveling at the moment, and I’m interested in seeing where he develops.

10. Yasuho Hirose

Yasuho Hirose is the protagonist of the eighth part, and the love interest to the protagonist JoJo.

After discovering Josuke embedded in the faults of Morioh, naked and amnesiac, she takes him under her wing and introduces him to the Higashikata household.

The protagonist, through their guidance, is able to traverse the streets of Morioh and attempt reclamation of their memories and identity.

The Yasuho Stand, an enigmatically designed Stand of humanoid proportions, covered in street signs and neighborhood motifs that is capable of guiding Yasuho towards her goals as an aiding force, is particularly befitting of her Stand. ..

Jojo’s flowery design is also wonderful, simple, and contemporary. It’s unmistakably JoJo, yet still easy to style and adapt to different occasions. ..

A young man with a quiet disposition and dreams of becoming a ‘Gang-Star’. He has a fierce disposition and is known for his quick thinking and strategic planning. ..

The goal of this protester is to topple the regime of Passione due to its unlawful drug distribution, and reaffirm himself as The Boss. With that, his goals and personality act as an amalgam of both his fathers, constantly in flux – he’s a good person, with selfless goals he wishes to enforce through selfishness.

Giorno Giovanna is a symbol of the conflict between nature and culture. He wields a Stand, Gold Experience, that can transmute organic matter. ..

8. Guido Mista

Giorno, Bruno, and the rest of their gang are now one of the main protagonists of Golden Wind. They are joined by Guido, who joins them in engaging with Passione’s boss and protecting Trish.

He’s a reliable, if not always aloof, ally with paranoid sensibilities. He has a history of being unreliable and often hostile to those he perceives as threats to his power or authority.

He is a strange man, with an esoteric and unusual design. He is also very comfortable in his body, which can irritate others.

Despite his proactive and intelligent behavior, Guido Mista is also known for his strong sense of self-preservation. He is willing to put himself in danger in order to protect others, even if that means sacrificing himself.

Mista is terrified of the number four, and frequently mentions his dismay whenever the figure is mentioned.

The Pistols provide a new way for John Lennon to shoot, allowing him to use his sharpshooter abilities more flexibly.

7. Jotaro Kujo

Jotaro is one of the most popular and frequent characters in the series. He has appeared in over 50 episodes, and his popularity has led to him being featured in merchandise, including a game for the PlayStation Portable.

In part 3, JoJo is forced to travel to Egypt to stop DIO once and for all. He makes a large appearance in part 4, investigating Morioh for a serial killer.

In part 5, Koichi introduces himself as a minor character and is a major plot point. In part 6, he becomes the protagonist’s father.

This guy is a powerful Stand user who is calm and collected on the outside, but has a soft and caring interior. He is very fast and strong thanks to his Stand, Star Platinum, which only gets better with time.

6. Joseph Joestar

JoJo is perhaps the most unique of all the JoJo’s. ..

He’s the second most recurring character in the JoJo series, being a main ally of part 2 and a secondary character in part 4.

Despite his often mischievous behavior, he has a knack for coming up with ingenious solutions in tense situations. ..

Joseph is always looking for ways to win or survive. He uses Hamon throughout his titular part, but develops the relatively weak Stand, Hermit Purple, in Stardust Crusaders.

The design of Battle Tendency’s main protagonist, Ryu, has begun to show wear and tear over time. His flamboyance and poses have become more common in later parts of the series, but as he ages his design does too. This is a sign that the series is reaching its end.

In Stardust Crusaders, he’s sporting his iconic traveller’s gear, and in Diamond is Unbreakable he’s seen with a long duster coat and old-man’s hat. ..

Joseph is a well-known figure in the JoJo community, and his music has been featured on many an episode of the show. He’s also a talented artist, with his own music and art projects.

5. Rohan Kishibe

Araki’s personal favorite character is Rohan, a man who embodies Araki’s ideals on being a mangaka. Rohan is a conduit to Araki’s ideas on being a mangaka, and his story is an important part of Araki’s writing.

This manga author has a Stand that he uses to peek into the consciousness and memories of people. His Stand is called Heaven’s Door, and it allows him to see into the minds of others.

Rohan can erase and replace entries, making him a truly formidable enemy – were it not for the fact that he is primarily concerned with his artistic endeavors.

This guy is a great friend and ally to those in need. He’s witty, sarcastic, and always willing to help out. He’s also very selfless, even if he doesn’t always know the best way to go about it. ..

Diamond is Unbreakable is a unique design that changes with every appearance.

4. Johnny Joestar

Johnny is a paraplegic former jockey prodigy, a remastering of Jonathan Joestar (incorporating aspects of Joseph and Jotaro), and the protagonist of Steel Ball Run.

Gyro, a new runner in the city’s annual race, meets Runner X at the starting line. Runner X tells Gyro about the race’s purpose: to find and help new runners find their purpose in life. Gyro decides to join the race, and hopes to find his own purpose in life. ..

In his story, the protagonist, [him], is able to stand again both physically and metaphorically. The gradual evolution of his Stand, Tusk, goes through four transformative acts: the first act is when [him] creates it; the second act is when he uses it to kill a man; the third act is when he uses it to save a woman from being killed by a group of thugs; and the fourth act is when he uses it to defeat an enemy.

He’s a stylish and beautiful Westerner who can use the Spin technique to change his character design in response to the environment and season.

A powerful and inspiring individual.

3. Gyro Zeppeli

Joseph is a young man who has a lot of ambition. He wants to be like Gyro, the man who is respected by his peers and admired by everyone. ..

He is a Neapolitan executioner from a long line of killers who wants to win the Steel Ball Run in order to save an innocent child he believes is destined for execution. He uses his mastery of the Spin technique in combat to dispose of any enemy foolish enough to run against him. ..

Despite his exterior, Gyro is actually a very funny guy. He always has a lighthearted atmosphere and can bring the fury when it’s needed.

His Stand, [Ball Breaker], is a rare and powerful ability that is difficult to come by. When used in conjunction with a perfect Golden Ratio Spin, it can be devastating. ..

2. Bruno Bucciarati

Bruno is the head of the gang and a respected member of Passione. She is the motherly leader of the gang and a respected member of the community.

He’s a calculating and logical man, yet he always retains empathy or sympathy for those in need. His design is sleek, with a teardrop collage monochromatic suit adorned with zippers, and various buckles about his person.

Bruno is a secondary protagonist in the manga and anime series, Golden Wind, fighting alongside Giorno Giovanna to take down The Boss and free the streets of Neapolitan corruption. ..

His Stand, [Sticky Fingers], allows for quick traversal via zipping warpholes he can implant on organic and inorganic items, making him a sticky opponent to fight against, but a valuable ally to fight with. ..

1. Gappy (Josuke Higashikata)

Josuke is a young man who has been known online as Gappy due to the gap between his two front teeth. He is the new JoJo and current protagonist of JoJolion.

He’s a mysterious man with no memories, formed out of the fusion of two other people. He has the task of forming a new sense of identity for himself, one that will be more fulfilling and satisfying than the one he currently has.

Gappy’s journey is both introspective and dynamic, taking him across the bizarre town of Morioh. ..

The Stand is soft and wet, capable of plundering properties of a target, explosive bursting, and seems to be linked to the mysterious Stand power of Steel Ball Run. He’s a mystery to everyone except Araki, yet shows the most potential and growth of any character he’s ever written, embodying the core nature vs. nurture motif that’s woven throughout every part. ..

Gappy is a personification of dichotomy, Cartesian dualism, a lost identity, and existentialism.

I really hope that he ends up with a fulfilling, finalized character arc. As of this writing, he’s only gotten better with every chapter. So I have high hopes.
