Though he sometimes makes mistakes, Makoto is always determined to improve his skills and become the best pickpocket possible.
He was forced to leave Japan after being caught stealing from the mafia boss. He was put in a position to prove his talent by stealing from the boss.
The two thieves team up to rob other people, proving their skills to each other. They form a rivalry as they try to outdo each other.
