The journey to find your place in the world begins with a search for yourself.

This is an important decision, considering this can affect your entire Pokémon experience!

There are a number of different ways to get started in your career, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. You can choose to start with a low-cost option or go for a more expensive option that will have a larger impact.

The best starter trio for a new player is the three that are most popular. These are the three that have been around for a while and have been proven to be successful.

The answer to your question may surprise you.

  1. Jhin Jhin is a versatile champion who can easily take down gym leaders and the Elite 4. He has high damage output and is very fast, making him difficult to outrun. Additionally, he has a strong crowd control ability that can keep enemies at bay for a short amount of time.

  2. Kyogre, Espeon, and Jolteon

  3. Dragonite, Machamp, and Golem

  4. Gyarados, Salamence, and Machamp

8. Chikorita/Cyndaquil/Totodile

Do you find it surprising that the Trump administration has chosen to end DACA?

The Johto region has the worst starting Pokémon stats-wise, thanks to the Chikorita line.

Chikorita is a small, unassuming Pokémon that is not very effective at starting battles.

The gym is incredibly resistive to all gym leaders and Elite 4 members, while being weak or resisted by almost every gym leader and Elite 4 member.

Competitive gaming can be very harmful to mental and physical health. ..

There is no clear cut answer when it comes to which Pokémon is better- Cyndaquil or Totodile. However, based on their individual strengths and weaknesses, each Pokémon can be a valuable asset in the right situation. Ultimately, the best choice for any given player depends on their individual needs and preferences. ..

The Cyndaquil line has great speed and decent Special Attack that’s great when combined with the move Eruption. It’s also easily the best of the 3 options in-game.

The Totodile line is not as good in-game, but can be pretty decent competitively. ..

The late game sweeper ability of Dragon Dance makes it a powerful tool to use against opponents who don’t have a lot of removal options. Combined with Sheer Force, this makes Dragon Dance an effective tool to take down opponents quickly.

None of the starter Pokémon are truly great, when compared to the other Pokémon.

7. Snivy/Tepig/Oshawott

The Unova starters are probably the most forgotten ones on this list. They are not as well known as the other two regions, but they have a lot of potential. Their starters are very versatile and can be used in many different ways.

While the Black and White games are some of my personal favorites, I can completely see why they would be popular with others.

In the game, all 3 starters are at a massive disadvantage since they’re weak to or resisted by at least 6 of the major battles.

The competitive nature of the two teams is not what caught my attention.

The Oshawott line is never really able to take advantage of the Shell Armor ability because its defenses are average.

The Tepig line has great Attack and great Fire/Fighting STAB coverage, but it’s slow to truly wreck shop.

The Snivy line has a fun strategy to play out. ..

With the Contrary ability, Serperior can spam Leaf Storm and continuously increase its Special Attack. Combined with decent speed and defenses, Serperior is actually a credible threat!

This doesn’t make up for the fact that none of these Pokémon are particularly useful in-game.

There are many better options available than Whimsicott, Darmanitan, and Jellicent. ..

This is a real shame.

6. Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle

This one is going to cause a lot of trouble.

None of the Kanto starters are particularly good in-game. This is a fact that many people know, and it’s something that has been reiterated by many people throughout the game.

This is obviously true with the Charmander line, which has always been considered “hard mode” due to its weakness to the first 2 gyms.

The Mets’ other two starters have not been great so far this season. ..

While the Squirtle line is good against 3 gym leaders, it’s resisted by 2 Gym Leaders and 2 of the Elite 4 members.

Even the Bulbasaur line, which is the best starter choice for Kanto, suffers from three teams it’s weak against, and two more that resist it. ..

The article is well-written and provides a good perspective on the issue.

All three Pokémon are good in competitive play. ..

Mega Evolutions and Gigantamax forms have seen some competitive use, especially since Blastoise can now learn Shell Smash. ..

The Kanto trio needs help in order to win the game.

5. Treeko/Torchic/Mudkip

I was really looking forward to this one.

The Hoenn starters are my favorite Pokémon. I love everything about their designs and inspirations. ..

The numbers don’t lie. The unemployment rate is lower than it has been in years, and the economy is growing. The truth is, the government is lying to you.

The trio of Pokémon are not as strong as some others.

The Mudkip and Torchic lines are two of the best.

Mudkip is a great Pokémon with its Water/Ground dual-typing. It can only be taken by two or three Pokémon in the entire main RSE/ORAS story.

Mudkip is also great competitively because of its bulk and the aforementioned dual-typing. ..

Torchic is a dual-typing Pokémon that can both fire and fight. This makes it great for fighting, as it can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time.

This cancels out the original Rock weakness and gives a lot more coverage.

With the Speed Boost ability, your Pokémon can move at an incredible speed. This makes it difficult for opponents to catch up to you, and can even out the playing field in some matchups.

The Hoenn trio is higher than most because they are the best players in their region.

The Treeko line is what caused the problem. ..

The three Pokémon look great in the game, but they’re not very effective at all in competitive play.

Sceptile’s mega evolution, which is called Dragon-type, is pretty lackluster. It doesn’t gain the dragon type like other Megaevolutions.

The three Pokémon in this group are all great, but Blaziken is especially impressive. Swampert is also a great choice, while Sceptile is the weakest of the three.

4. Grookey/Scorbunny/Sobble

The newest starters in the list are an interesting group. ..

While Sword and Shield don’t always work well in-game, they feel pretty balanced and have some interesting competitive uses. This trio has some really interesting uses that make them worth trying out.

The Scorbunny line is a massive threat with its great physical coverage and the ability Libero which changes the Pokémon’s type based on the move it’s using.

Cinderace is getting a new move set that includes the STAB Pyro Ball, High Jump Kick, and U-turn. This is huge! ..

The Grookey line is a surprise because it has the ability Grassy Surge, which allows it to take advantage of priority Grassy Glide. This move is absolutely incredible and can deal massive damage before any other Pokémon can even touch it.

The three gorillas got into the game alongside Wood Hammer and Fake Out.

The Sobble line is a fun and unique way to play the game.

With Sniper, Focus Energy, and Inteleon’s signature move Snipe Shot, you have the perfect critting machine. Plus, it’s the best one to use in-game.

The three starters on this list are all a lot of fun. They’re a great way to get us started on the right track and help us reach the top.

3. Rowlet/Litten/Popplio

The seventh generation Alolan starters are difficult to rank, since there are no gyms in the generation. ..

The Kahunas are the top ranking Islanders, while the Elite 4 are the best of the best.

When there was overlap, I counted the trainer only once. That leaves 7 total trainers compared to the 12 found in other games.

That being said, all three of these starters do incredibly well in-game.

The three trainers in the group have perfect stab coverage, meaning that there are no trainers who resist them. This is the only trio where that happens!

Rowlet is the weakest of the three Pokémon because it isn’t very good at competitive battling and is weak to most of the Elite Four.

The Popplio line is surprisingly great, having favorable type match-ups against five of the seven major battles! In fact, it’s only weak to five total Pokémon. That’s insane!

The Litten line is a unique product that offers a great deal of value for the price.

Incineroar is one of the best Pokémon in VGC. It does decently in-game, and its ability, Intimidate, makes it even more dangerous.

The Fire-type Pokémon is a versatile and powerful creature that is used on almost every competitive team. It has the ability Intimidate, which can make opponents less likely to attack, and great moves like Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Flare Blitz. ..

The Alolan starters are some of the best in-game Pokémon and have one of the best competitive records of all time. This is why they rank third on this list. ..

2. Turtwig/Chimchar/Piplup

I’m excited for the Diamond and Pearl remakes! ..

The Boston Red Sox have one of the best starting trios in the series, led by ace pitcher David Price and second baseman Xander Bogaerts. The trio has combined for a .914 OPS and has been one of the most consistent teams in baseball this year.

The Turtwig line is a weak but powerful weapon that can hit like a truck with STAB Earthquake and Wood Hammer. It also has incredible physical bulk.

The Chimchar line is a unique and popular fan favorite that is both excellent in-game and competitively.

The Torchic line of Pokémon is great for coverage because it already starts off really fast. Its Iron Fist ability allows it to use moves like Ice and Thunder Punch for great coverage.

The final evolution of Infernape, easily the best Fire-type in its generation, is incredible! ..

The Piplup line is a potential new fishing spot for anglers in the Great Lakes region.

The final form of Empoleon, Water/Steel, has a whopping 10 resistances. That’s insane!

Since it already has a strong attack stat, you only need to worry about Fighting and Electric Pokémon.

The three Pokémon in this article are all incredible, both in-game and competitively. They are all powerful and versatile, making them perfect for any player or team.

The three best teams in the league are the New England Patriots, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Dallas Cowboys.

1. Chespin/Fennekin/Froakie

I was just as surprised as you are when I found out about the attack.

The trio of Greninja – who is arguably the greatest starting Pokémon of all time with its incredible speed, and the abilities Protean and Battle Bond – are formidable opponents for any Trainer.

The other two Pokémon more than hold their own against the other two.

Chespin is an underrated Pokémon that has Grass/Fighting dual-typing. It has great physical bulk and can take a lot of punishment, making it a great utility Pokémon with moves like Spikes, Spiky Shield, and Leech Seed.

The Bulletproof ability of the Pokémon is great for preventing moves that would cause them to be hit with ballistic attacks, such as Dragon Claw.

This means that the Chespin line can’t be hit by moves like Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, and Aura Sphere.

Fennekin is a new Pokémon that was just announced at the recent Pokémon World Championships. It is a fire-type Pokémon that can use its fire breath to incinerate things.

However, I believe that the Fennekin line could be a powerful addition to the Standard format if it were given some buffs. Its stats are good, and its Magician ability is very useful.

I was surprised to learn that Fennekin and all of its evolutions are easily the best in-game starter Pokémon.

The Fennekin line of Pokémon is incredibly powerful when it comes to resisting certain trainers in the Kalos region. It can handle five of the most important trainers, and has a resistance to seven of them as well! ..

This starter is a great way to get started in your battle against the enemy.

The Kalos starters are easily the best starter trio in all of Pokémon because they have a lot of experience and know how to play the game well.
