The character model is just brilliant. The cybernetic aesthetic works extremely well on Rek’Sai and all of the new particles fit in together nicely.
The Q and E feel very powerful and having your burrows be actual portals was a brilliant move. And let’s not forget that you also get a voice filter – to really hammer in that cosmic horror vibe.
The new animation is poor and frustrating.
The music in the burrowed skins is not as good as the other skins. ..
Rek’Sai is the only skin that doesn’t come with chromas. This might not be a bad thing, but it makes the other skins look more appealing. ..
3. Pool Party Rek’Sai

There are a lot of Rek’Sai skins out there, but this one is the only one that actually goes in the goofy direction. It’s a bit of a departure from the more traditional Rek’Sai look, but it’s still a great skin to play with.
Your character’s skin is light and bubbly, making it easy to see why it isn’t seen as extremely serious.
Despite the fact that you are not a bloodthirsty shark, there is still some terror to be found in the game. After all, your backing animation could easily pass as a Jaws audition and the music that plays while you’re burrowed is both calming and terrifying. ..
The skin feels nice to use and the splash effect is distinct and crisp. The same goes for your E and ult.
The skin comes with six pretty interesting chromas – where you can pick Emerald in order to be an alien or Rose Quartz to showcase your inner beauty.
The skin is pretty fun, but I find it difficult to feel badass while playing Rek’Sai. So this falls under the “will throw on occasionally” category.

This skin is so good that it could’ve easily just served as the base skin. Just look at that character model!
