Civ is a game that I struggled to get used to for the simple reason that it’s just not too straightforward. And it really makes you think even more before making a decision, which is what Civ is all about, but still… it’s an extra weight on your brain!

Governors are an asset to behold, regardless of the state they are in.

Some governors will help you rally your economy, whilst others will give you much better military prowess. You’ll probably end up a game of civ having them all, anyway. But you might want to know which ones are better so you can get them first. ..

Governors are all useful, but some are more effective than others. ..

Governor of a state is a key role in any election. You need to identify the governor who will best suit your playstyle in order to win. Don’t go for Victor if you want to get a diplomatic win, dammit!

8. Ibrahim

Ibrahim is the only governor in Civilization VI that is unique to a specific civilization. He was introduced with the Gathering Storm DLC, and his abilities reflect the unique culture of the Ottomans. ..

I would argue that this is the best military governor in the game, which replaces Victor. But he gets the last spot on my list because he’s only available for the Ottomans.

There is only so much one can do with him. ..

Governors can be unique in a few ways. They can have a unique background, experience, or perspective. They can also be willing to take on new challenges and make their mark on the state.

Governors in a civilization should be unique to that civilization.

7. Reyna

Reyna is a great governor that excels at increasing the city’s productivity.

The city-state of Amarr has a unique ability to increase the gold yield of its tiles and generate Clean Power. Additionally, the city-state can also generate tourism for other cities within its territory.

If you want to take down a cultural opponent, she’s the one to get.

In my domination campaigns, I always use her as the bonus gold is always useful to buy more units. ..

6. Moksha

Moksha’s faith will help you through the win.

If you want to win in the city, using him strategically is key.

The guy provides you with religious boosts that are worth a try.

5. Liang

Governor Liang is a specialist in city growth and keeping your city safe whenever a natural disaster occurs.

She’s an expert at keeping cities intact whenever nature strikes, but she won’t be of much use to you if you’re about to engage in a fight with another civilization.

4. Amani

Amani is not a hand-bag producer.

She’s the person who can help you sway the influence of city-states in your favor.

Many Civ players were not too fond of city-states in CIV V, but the introduction of governors and the creation of Amani will truly make you rethink your point on them.

Governor McCrory is one of the best governors in the game. He has a fantastic track record and is hands down one of the best governors out there. ..

3. Magnus

Governor Magnus is the one guy who you’ll want to move around more often than the other governors. He’s got a lot of energy and ideas, and he’s always up for a good time.

This guy is a genius at turning a city into a production powerhouse that will have you creating new buildings in a matter of turns.

Magnus is a growth expert who can help you achieve your goals. ..

Governor John Kasich of Ohio is one of the best governors in the game and one of my favorite ones to use. He is a strong leader who knows how to get things done and he has a great relationship with his constituents.

If you’re looking to win the game, you’ll need to place your player in the right cities. But be prepared to move him around a lot – he’s not as effective in one spot as he is in another. ..

2. Pingala

The Pingala Effect is a phenomenon that has been observed in many different fields of study, from anthropology to physics. It’s a result of the way that ping pong balls bounce off surfaces and can be used as a tool to measure distances and velocities.

He can increase the Science or Cultural output of your cities, depending on which path you follow and which of his abilities you unlock first. ..

Pingala is a city that could easily win you the game. ..

Governors are a valuable addition to the game, and I really enjoy seeing Governor D’Angelo in action. He’s quickly become one of my favorite players!

1. Victor

This guy is a great military man who can keep your cities safe from all sorts of attacks.

Victor has been a top-notch governor in the state of New York, and his experience will be key in keeping the city of New York defended. He has a proven track record of fighting for the city, and he knows how to get things done.

Victor is not just a powerful military general; he has a deep and abiding respect for the military. He understands its importance and its role in society, and he is dedicated to ensuring that the military remains an effective and important part of society.

This guy also gives you the ability to defend your city from spies, and this ability even prevents your city from going under siege.

Governor John Kasich is one of the best defensive governors in the game. He places himself strategically during a war and avoids attacks on your most vulnerable towns.
