Many gamers prefer the most punishing, most difficult, and most frustrating games.

The PlayStation Portable is a handheld console that has a wide variety of games to choose from, including some old-school arcade titles and some new classics.

There are a few PSP games that can be cleared without any negative consequences. Clearing these games will make you look good to other gamers. ..

15. Mercury Meltdown (2006)

Mercury Meltdown is a science fiction story about a world where the sun has melted down and the Mercury layer is all that’s left.

Liquid mercury is now available in a safe and easy-to-use format. ..

In Mercury, you guide a blob of mercury around maze-like stages by tilting the map and letting gravity do the rest. By manipulating these elements, you can navigate your way to the finish line. ..

The difficulty curve becomes steep thanks to the puzzle mechanics of the game.

If you’re looking for more mercury action, check out Archer Maclean’s Mercury. ..

14. Class of Heroes (2009)

Etrian Odyssey is a hard game that many people are familiar with. It’s a series of games that follow the story of a young girl named Lina who travels through different worlds and tries to save the world from an evil empire.

Class of Heroes is a PSP game that lets you experience similar experiences to those in the console versions. ..

Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon crawler RPG where you create every character in your party and explore a mysterious dungeon. The dungeons are full of traps, monsters, and hopeless situations – but the loot will keep you coming back for more. ..

The Class of Heroes is a forgettable game that doesn’t offer much in the way of innovation or story. However, the aesthetics are nice and the difficulty is more than satisfactory.

13. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (2006)

This is a general rule that can be applied to any genre of game, but is especially true for RPGs. Old games are often much harder to play than their newer counterparts, and this is especially true if the game was designed by someone who knows how to make hard-hitting, challenging games.

Valkyrie Profile is a series of video games that are similar to LEGO toys. If it belongs to the Valkyrie Profile franchise, it’ll be like walking on Legos.

If these maxims hold, then the original Valkyrie Profile (2000) on the PSX should be as hard as nails – and it is, especially if you want to get the “good” ending.

This PSP port features some minor tweaks but remains as challenging as it was on the PlayStation.

Your party will have to be rebuilt for every new challenge, abuse every mechanic, and learn the intricacies of its complex skill system – but you’ll come out on the other side a better RPG gamer.

12. Lord of Arcana (2011)

In a turn-based RPG, there are always ways to make it easier. Whether you’re following a guide or just playing the game yourself, there are always ways to make things more efficient and fun.

Arcana is a mysterious and powerful force that can be used to manipulate the world. If you can use it correctly, you can control the course of events. If you don’t, things can go wrong. That’s why it’s so important to learn how to use arcana.

This game is a hack-and-slash similar to Monster Hunter or God Eater, featuring simplified controls and an easy-to-grasp combat system that makes it a good introduction to the genre – until you get to the first boss.

Bosses in “The Office” can wear employees down until they cry and their Apple Watches warn them their heart rates are too high. ..

The graphics are unimpressive and the story is a placeholder. If you value a skill-expressive game that’ll take you to the limit, Lord of Arcana is the way to go.

11. Killzone Liberation (2006)

The PSP Killzone 2 is a top-down isometric run-and-gun game that was announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment America during their PlayStation Media Showcase at the Playstation Experience event in December 2009. The game is set in the same world as the original Killzone, but takes place on a different planet. Players will use their guns to shoot enemies and obstacles in order to progress through the levels.

This game may have been off-putting to some, but it is a gem for those who enjoy a challenge. ..

Killzone Liberation is a unique mix of a dungeon crawler and an isometric shooter that makes for an exciting experience. ..

The Helghast are a formidable foe, and you’ll need to be smart and aware if you want to survive. ..

10. Hammerin’ Hero (2009)

Hammerin’ Harry was a 1990s arcade hit platformer that was hard as nails.

Hammerin’ Hero is a PSP game that brings the same hammerin’ action to the console. Players can use their hammer to smash objects and enemies in a variety of ways, and they can also use the hammer to fight off enemies.

In this title, you play as a young boy who must navigate through treacherous levels in order to save your family from the evil forces that are after them. The levels are designed in a way that will keep you on your toes, and you will need to use all of your skills to survive.

Despite the high difficulty, I think this game is great for anyone. It has a beautiful retro spirit, and some of the boss fights are so over-the-top that they’re hilarious.

9. Ys: The Oath in Felghana (2010)

The game has been praised for its long history and excellent gameplay, blending exploration, puzzle-solving, and platforming with ARPG combat.

The Oath in Felghana is a PSP remake of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys (1989). It is updated to play like later sequels, like Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim (2003).

The game is an exciting adventure where even the first enemy in each area can mess you up if you’re not paying attention. ..

The game, which is a 3D isometric platformer, has the added difficulty of being hard as nails. This makes judging distances and depth extra hard. ..

8. Metal Slug Anthology (2007)

This gift from the gods includes a set of metal Slug games, each with its own unique gameplay mechanics and story. You can play them any time you want, anywhere you want. Whether you’re at home or on the go, metal Slug Anthology is perfect for your gaming needs.

The website is well-organized and has a lot of content. ..

7. Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time (2012)

Creative missions are a popular way to add excitement and excitement to SRPGs. They can be used to add new content, or to change the game play.

The escort mission comes along, and everyone is so excited they lose their minds.

I’m not great at routing the enemy, but when an SRPG starts asking me to defend flags, escort VIPs, and chase down escaping foes on a grid map full of their henchmen, I know it’s going to be an uphill climb.

The traveler of time is filled with these missions. Sometimes, there’s only one way to clear them, and you can only find out through trial and error (or a guide).

If you can get over the fact that it’s a game with a forgettable story and an abundance of generic female characters, it’s a fantastic game with a memorable story and plenty of love interests. ..

6. Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone (2008)

I’ve never played a game where I had to make choices that would affect the course of the game, or where I couldn’t simply turn around and leave at any time. Yggdra Union is one of those games.

In this latest release in the Dept. Heaven series, Yggdra Union pushes the boundaries of the genre to the limit. This story follows a group of knights who are sent on a mission to stop an evil being from taking over the world. The knights are forced to use all of their skills and training to survive against an impossible enemy.

This is a game where the player’s gender, dietary restrictions, and military skills all affect how they play and the morale of their soldiers. The amount of detail you need to keep an eye on is mind-blowing.

The Yggdra Union story is well-told and the rewards are great once you get into it.

5. What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 (2010)

The natural ecosystems around us are incredibly fragile. The climate change and biodiversity changes we’re seeing around us are a result of the human-caused environment. We need to take steps to protect these ecosystems from further damage.

One change could lead to a domino effect that destroys everything. ..

In a world where people are judged on their actions, what did I do to deserve this?

You play as the Badman, trying to keep pesky heroes from reaching you by quickly digging out a dungeon in the ground.

Different monsters will spawn to protect you depending on the resources you find in the dungeon. Fostering a thriving ecosystem is key to success. ..

4. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (2009)

In Monster Hunter, you must use your skills and knowledge to survive in a world of dangerous creatures. With each new game, the challenge becomes greater and the rewards more valuable. Whether you’re looking to take on the biggest and most powerful monsters or just improve your skills for the next hunt, Monster Hunter is a must-play title for any gamer.

The PSP is known for its obtuse control schemes, making it difficult to use.

The controls are relatively easy to master, but the mighty enemies make it so hard. ..

With excellent graphics, tons of weapons to try out, and an adorable Felyne fighter to give you a hand in combat, MHFU is easily the best hack-and-slash game on the PSP.

3. Ultimate Ghosts’ n Goblins (2006)

Old-school hard is a term that I often hear in the gaming community. It refers to games that were made before the current generation of gamers became popular. These games are typically more challenging and require more skill than games today.

The original “Pac-Man” game was so difficult that many kids who played it in arcades went bankrupt. The game made the jump to home consoles, but continued to frustrate gamers with its difficulty. ..

The game is a massive update of the classic Ghosts’ n Goblins gameplay with exciting new additions. Players can now team up with friends to take on the evil ghosts and goblins together. The game also features a brand new story mode that will keep you entertained for hours on end.

The new “Dragon Quest XI” game features a variety of new features, including minor RPG elements, armor stacking, and a handy “Warp Staff” that lets you visit any previously cleared levels without starting over. ..

Some of these changes make the game easier, but you can always play on “Ultimate” difficulty to get the authentic DnD experience.

2. Pursuit Force (2006)

Pursuit Force is a difficult and unusual police chase game for the PSP. ..

This title follows a law enforcement officer who engages in high-speed chases against criminal gangs constantly shooting at him and trying to ram his car.

Jump from car to car, dodging bullets and pumping your enemies full of lead as you try to reach your target.

It’s hard to clear the advanced stages of the game, as they require perfect performance. Better get used to the retry button.

1. Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! (2011)

Fans of the Prinny series on the PSP were not disappointed when they got their hands on this game. It is easily one of the best entries in the series. ..

Players control a team of characters as they navigate through an ever-changing world, fighting off enemies and rescuing hostages. Along the way, they must use their wits and quick reflexes to solve puzzles and defeat obstacles.

The game’s design is treacherous and its jumping mechanics are restrictive. The enemy hits that push you back are a reminder of old-school Castlevania titles.

You need to clear six levels in order to progress in the game, and it’s not nearly enough for the average gamer to make it past the third one.

Both Prinny games offer a lot of content and features, with the original being slightly more difficult. If you’re looking for a challenging platformer, the original is worth checking out. ..
