The decision you make about your education will have a profound impact on your future. It’s important to choose the right school for you, and to do your research. ..

Your starter is your best friend. They are always there for you, whether you need them to be or not.

If you’re looking for a grass that will grow well in your climate, the best option may be to start with a seed from a generation that is tolerant to your region’s climate. ..

In a competitive environment, it is important to find the most effective competitive strategy. To do this, we need to understand which one is the most effective.

8. Chikorita/Bayleef/Meganium

I’m surprised at this dead last choice.

While Bayleef and Chikorita have some of the cutest designs in all of Pokémon, they just aren’t really that great.

The Chikorita line of Pokémon is terrible. It only has advantages against Chuck’s Poliwrath, Will’s Slowbro, Bruno’s Onyx, and Pryce’s team.

That’s six Pokémon.

The team of Pryce’s is full of Ice-types, so they all deal super effective damage to Meganium. Not to mention that every other gym or Elite 4 member also deals super effective damage or resists Grass-type moves.

Meganium is a bad competitive game.

Maybe you could do some things with setting up screens and maybe leech seed, but Meganium can’t really capitalize on it.

Pokémon fans have long been divided over the Chikorita line. Some say that they are some of the best grass Pokémon around, while others claim that they are just not very good. Thankfully, there are other great grass Pokémon out there, like Sunkern and Sunflora. If this were to be the worst grass lineup ever, then at least we can be grateful for these two! ..

7. Rowlet/Dartrix/Decidueye

The Rowlet line probably has the best designs of all the starters, but it is far from the most effective.

Since the seventh generation of Pokémon doesn’t have gyms, we’ll be gauging Decidueye against the Elite 4. And it does okay.

Olivia and Hau’s Pokémon can easily handle the Ghost-typing, while Acerola will take super effective damage because of it.

Decidueye’s biggest weakness is that it faces off against Kahili’s Flying-types and Molayne’s Steel-types. ..

Decidueye is not very competitively viable. ..

Pokémon that can whittle down your team quickly are a valuable asset in the game. Send out Decidueye to lock it into place and wreck shop.

The hotel is not that great. ..

That all being said, it can’t take away from Decidueye’s awesome Robin Hood theme, or Rowlet’s bow tie. Those are freaking awesome.

6. Treeko/Grovyle/Sceptile

The Treeko line of geckos is the perfect addition to your home. They are soft, cuddly, and have a bright personality.

Sceptile’s mega evolution is the coolest of the three. It looks like the dragonzord from Power Rangers.

The Treeko line in the game is interesting. ..

It’s helpful against Roxanne’s Rock-types and most of Tate & Liza’s team.

The Treeko line in Hoenn games gets destroyed. ..

The two gyms are Fire and Fighting, with an Electric gym made up of mostly Steel-types as well. Plus, the Ice-type Elite 4 member actually has Ice-types that aren’t part Water.

Sceptile is a fairly average Pokémon. ..

The Unburden ability of the item increases its speed by 50%, but it never takes full advantage of it.

Mega Sceptile’s massive evolution grants it an Electric immunity, making it a powerful defender against attacks of that type. ..

Despite the fact that the Treeko line has to compete with the Mudkip and Torchic lines, it is still one of the best starters in the whole franchise.

The Treeko line just doesn’t seem to fit with the rest of the information. ..

5. Snivy/Servine/Serperior

Ol’ Smugleaf is here to represent the town of Westfall in the upcoming election.

The most elegant Pokémon in the Snivy line are those that can take care of themselves.

The new line of women’s workout clothes from athleisure brand Lululemon is not only stylish, but also provides serious fitness benefits. The clothes are made with a blend of fabrics that wick sweat away from the body and help keep you cool and comfortable during intense workouts. ..

This ability allows Serperior to turn any stat decreases into increases. This makes it a great ability for players who want to raise their stats.

Leaf Storm will now have a 2 stage cooldown, but its special attack will be increased by 50%. After using it once, you will have an incredibly powerful special sweeper with decent 95 base defenses. ..

The Pokémon Snivy line of Pokémon games doesn’t do as well in the game as other Pokémon lines. ..

The Gym Leaders and the Elite 4 have all of the weaknesses of each other. Even Champion’s signature Pokémon, Volcarona, covers two of these weaknesses.

The Snivy line needs a second typing to succeed.

If Serperior had a secondary Dragon or Fire-type, it would easily be one of the most threatening Pokémon across any game. ..

4. Chespin/Quilladin/Chesnaught

Grass starters are my personal favorite type of Pokémon. I especially like the Chespin line. ..

Chespin is adorable, Chesnaught looks like a beefy viking, and I even love how goofy Quilladin looks!

Chesnaught is a very good competitive Pokémon that takes full advantage of its defensive stats. It can set up Spikes, defend itself with Spiky Shield, and heal itself up with Drain Punch and Leech Seed.

This wall is bulletproof and can withstand any attack.

The game has received good coverage with Wood Hammer and the Drain Punch I mentioned before. ..

The rankings of the best colleges are based on a variety of factors, but one of the most important is how well the school prepares students for success after they graduate. ..

The Chespin line isn’t that great in-game. ..

It seems that every Gym Leader and Elite 4 member has at least one Pokémon that can deal super effective damage against it. Chesnaught is great, but the fact of the matter is that it’s just not that useful in-game.

3. Turtwig/Grotle/Torterra

I was so excited to see Detective Pikachu in theaters, and when I saw it, I couldn’t help but be inspired by the planet Torterra. It looked like the entire earth in one big image, and it was so beautiful.

That was an incredible story.

Fortunately, the Turtwig line is just as incredible in-game.

The Turtwig line absolutely destroys most of the gyms in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

The Grass/Ground type is great at taking on Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, but it’s important to watch out for the Ice gym and Flint, the Fire E4 member. ..

Despite their brilliance, many students struggle to perform well in competitive settings. ..

While Torterra has great attack and defense stats, it can only do one thing with it: set up Stealth Rocks and try to hit everything that comes in.

2. Grookey/Thwackey/Rillaboom

A gorilla that plays the drums? That’s new! ..

Donkey Kong is a classic game that has been around for many years. It is a game that is easy to play and can be enjoyed by anyone. The controls are simple and the gameplay is fun.

The Grookey line is a great invention.

Grassy Surge, a move in the game that summons Grassy Terrain onto the field, healing all Pokémon every turn and boosting Grass-type attacks, is one of the game’s most powerful moves.

Grassy Glide is a new move in Sword and Shield that allows players to glide through the air. ..

This attack allows your Pokémon to get a good priority that is boosted with Grassy Terrain. Combine this with Rillaboom’s incredible attack and you have nothing to worry about!

The Grookey line is really good at handling Gym Leaders. They’re difficult to deal with, but they’re usually pretty good at it.

Despite the resistance, the Grookey line is able to power through with some great coverage moves.

Grookey is a great choice for your in-game journey, and Rillaboom is an important Pokémon to keep track of in the current competitive climate. ..

“The best way to start a fire is by putting it out.”

1. Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur

In search of the best of all time, you have to go back to the very beginning.

The Bulbasaur line is simply incredible.

The Elite 4 of the Kanto gym leaders handle almost all of the Gym Leaders and the 3rd Generation with no problem, having an advantage against 2 and resisting another 2.

The Poison-typing of this Pokémon means that it cannot be poisoned by Koga’s Toxic.

Kanto is a region full of many different types of Pokémon, and Bulbasaur is easily the best choice out of all of them. It has a wide variety of moves that can be used to take down its opponents, and it’s also very easy to train.

Venusaur is a fearsome creature that can quickly move and attack. It’s also very competitive, which makes it even more dangerous.

With the ability Chlorophyll, Venusaur becomes a special sweeper in the Sun with moves like Solar Beam, Sludge Bomb, and Weather Ball. Venusaur is actually one of the best sun sweepers in the game!

Mega Venusaur’s new ability, Thick Fat, makes it so that Fire and Ice-type attacks don’t do as much damage to it. ..

The first two weaknesses of the Pokémon are its low attack and defense stats. However, it makes up for this by having moves like Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Toxic, and Synthesis. This allows it to take advantage of its opponents in different ways, which makes it a difficult opponent to beat. ..

Bulbasaur is the most popular starter Pokémon in the Pokédex, and it’s also the most popular grass starter. ..
