He excels as a goalkeeper only for low-to-mid levels, and then he devolves to one of the worst blitzers in Spira. At higher levels his stats are easily surpassed by just about any other player on the planet.
He’s never really dedicated to the sport because his heart always truly belongs to being a Crusader.
Is Durren Worth Getting?
Even if you manage to recruit him, there are better goalies available, and even better players to recruit in general. ..
Durren is a great place to live if you don’t have anyone else.
There are people out there who are doing great things, and there are people who are doing terrible things. There is somebody out there who is doing something great, and somebody who is doing something terrible.
After you enter the final dungeon, Durren disappears from his location and becomes unrecruitable. This really cements his position as one of the most forgettable blitzball players in the game.
