The game’s quirky dialogue and aloof style could put some people off. But deep down, it’s an enjoyable RPG experience.

The game features multiple difficulty spikes that can make it difficult to complete its final act.

If you’re looking for some extra experience to beef up your party, or to master a job or two, my list here has you covered.

5. Outside Crescent (Prototype)

This is probably the most fun entry on this list.

Prototype is a powerful enemy found southwest of Crescent in the first world. He has a unique weakness – Control. If you can control him, he will be easy to defeat.

You can use the Control ability from the Beastmaster job to take control of this fearsome enemy and make it kill itself using Self-destruct.

This method is incredibly fun and doesn’t require any sort of party setup. You can use it to control any creature in the game, without having to join a party.

Prototype gives around 500 EXP and 4 ABP, and also has a chance to drop the powerful mix item Dark Matter.

There are definitely better grind spots in the game, but this one is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the experience.

4. Great Forest of Moore (Dechirer)

These little guys are found in World 2 in the forests north of Surgate Castle around Moore.

The dechirer is susceptible to Level 5 Death, and thus is absolutely ripe for being grinded for experience.

After being defeated, the enemies offer around 1500 EXP per battle. Just like Prototype, they require no special party set ups at all.

Blue Magic users can use Level 5 Death to kill enemies.

3. Castle of Bal Basement (Objet d’Art)

This one is a popular FFV method that can be used to grind up the enemy.

Death is a powerful enemy that can easily kill players if they are not careful. However, for those who are familiar with Death, its weaknesses can be easily exploited. By using Death’s weaknesses, players can easily mastering the game.

The Castle of Bal in World 2 contains a number of ABP generators, which are found in the basement. These generators are one of the quickest and simplest sources for ABP in the game.

The enemies in this dungeon are of the stone type, so they are weak to the Gold Needle item. However, you can kill them one at a time using this method.

2. Merged World Ocean (Vilia)

Gil and ABP are plentiful in Vilia, making it one of the more difficult entries on this list to defeat. ..

There is no doubt that this enemy is worth your efforts. ..

The Gel Fish and Nix are found on the most south-western tiles of the ocean in the Merged World. They are also one of the few things that can be found on the most southern continent.

The Vilia are a dangerous foe, boasting a high HP pool and some sneaky tricks. They can easily outlast most players, and can even block some attacks. However, their high HP pool makes them vulnerable to damage, so it is important to be careful when fighting them.

Your grind strategy will require you to use Spellblade ability Break, so be sure to attack your leisure until she’s petrified and dies.

The valuable Vilia can be found in the game, and it has the chance to drop the useful Angel Ring. ..

1. Interdimensional Rift (Movers)

The best enemies to grind for experience are the cream of the crop. These enemies have high levels of attack and defense, making them easy to kill.

The Interdimensional Rift is a place of great danger, and those who venture there often find themselves fighting against powerful beings known as movers. These creatures are incredibly fast and agile, and can move through the rift with ease. However, even the strongest movers are not invincible. They can be defeated by using the right strategies and tactics, and by using powerful weapons and items available in the last area of the rift.

The best way to deal with these creatures is to be prepared for them before they become a problem.

Phoenix is weak to fire, so spamming it is a sure way to whittle its health down. ..

You can control one zombie at a time and make them self-destruct. ..

You could summon Bahamut and use Mime with the other three party members until the battle is over.

The movers offer no EXP, but a whopping 50,000 Gil and 199 ABP – meaning you can easily max your jobs and power up your Freelancer job for the final boss.

This isn’t the best way to get actual experience for levels. Just for ability points.

If you quicksave in the last area of the Rift, when you load up your game, Movers are guaranteed to spawn on your second encounter. ..
