Method #1: Farm Spirit Altar At Hell Difficulty (Best Method)
The Spirit Altar is a game mode that revolves around farming runes, which is the best game mode to focus on if you want Greater Runes.
Clearing the Hell difficulty allows players to farm Greater Runes at a much faster rate, as only one other rarity of rune can be found here. ..
If you’re not able to clear Hell Difficulty yet, I recommend clearing Normal Difficulty instead. However, I still recommend moving on to farming Hell Difficulty as soon as you’re able to.
Method #2: Participate In Events
Whenever something new happens in the world of gaming, there are always a number of giveaway rewards and farmable rewards to be had. This includes all sorts of new games that come out, as well as older ones that have been updated. There are always some great opportunities to get some great rewards for your time and effort, so be sure to check out all the latest giveaways and updates!
The Rune Exchange Shop allows you to earn all three rarity of runes through side story events. These events can be found throughout the game, and can be completed by talking to the NPCs that will appear. The event currency is used to purchase runes from the shop, and can also be used in-game to purchase other items.
If you’re not in a hurry to get the Greater Runes, I’d recommend picking up rarer items such as Molagoras or Bookmarks first. Especially since Greater Runes are easier to farm.
Method #3: Request From Your Guild
You can farm Greater Runes by requesting them from your Guild, which you can do once per day.
This is an alternative to requesting Catalysts, which are much harder to farm compared to runes.
You can request up to 5 Greater Runes per day, which is a great deal – considering you can do this farming method every day if you want to.
