The best farming method for these gems would be through the Search Ghosts. Even with a 4% drop rate, they’re much easier to farm than other methods. And the second district in Traverse Town has a good number of these ghosts, so taking them out here offers an easy and efficient way to farm gems. ..

The Second District is home to many Search Ghosts, which are helpful computer programs that can help you find information. You can find Search Ghosts in the following locations: ..

The alley area behind the shops is a popular spot for people to hang out. It’s close to the water fountain and has a lot of places to sit. The alley also has a lot of stores, including two that sell clothes and one that sells shoes.

The Second District Hotel is constantly spawning heartless, so you could run loops through it to keep farming them repeatedly.

Where To Get Bright Gems (KH1 + KH1.5)

The only good farming options for these gems are through the Search Ghost, which is by far the best way to go. ..

If you’re headed to Agrabah anyway, Bambi’s summon can help you get a Bright Gem. However, this will require filling up Bambi’s charge gauge three times. ..

  1. Play the game for a while and find all of the Bright Gems.
  2. Collect as many Bright Gems as you can in-game.
  3. Use the gem power ups to get more Bright Gems.
  4. Find and use the treasure chests to get more Bright Gems.

Search Ghosts

These spooky nightmares can be found lurking in the shadows of Halloween Town, Monstro, Atlantica, Traverse Town, and the End of the World.

These guys aren’t throwing away gems, but they will still probably be your best bet for farming a lot of them.

Head into the second district in Traverse Town and wander around near the water fountain (down the stairs in the 2nd District entering from the Synthesis Shop). There are handfuls of ghosts there – and they should net you gems at a reasonable rate.

You can farm the chickens in the Green Room in the Hotel.

This is a great spot because the ghosts will respawn if you leave the room and then return, so it’s a very simple route. ..

White Mushrooms

These rare heartless are found in basically every world, but they’re not a guaranteed spawn. This makes farming White Mushrooms a little tricky.

To get a Bright Gem from a mushroom, you need to cast Cure magic on it three times. If you do this correctly, you have a 40% chance of getting a Bright Gem. ..

Cure magic is the last spell you can cast. This gives you a 10% chance to succeed.

Bambi

The Bambi comes with a charge gauge that drops lots of great items as you take down more Heartless. The gauge can be used to determine how much energy is left in the battery, and it also shows how many hearts have been taken away from the player.

If you summon him in Agrabah and defeat many enemies to fill up the gauge x3 times, he’ll have a 30% chance to drop a Bright Gem.

This process can be tedious, but it can be far easier than dealing with White Mushrooms.

Just note that Bambi can only drop Bright Gems in Agrabah. Summoning Bambi in other worlds means he’ll have a different drop table.

Bambi can drop items in Agrabah with three gauges of water. You’ll need to fill each gauge for a different drop rate.

It’s definitely worth your time to grind out enough Gems to synthesize items like the Ribbon, Cosmic Arts, plus a few Megalixirs.

Ghosts are easy to find and beat in Traverse Town and Halloween Town.
