In one story, the protagonist is a sociopath who turns out to be a good friend. In another, the evil overlord just wanted a friend.

  1. Naruto Uzumaki
  2. Sasuke Uchiha
  3. Yoruichi Shimura
  4. Ichigo Kurosaki

20. Hyakkimaru

The young man, Hyakkimaru, was born with a rare genetic disorder that left him with no eyesight. He was also born without a nose or mouth, and had to use a feeding tube to eat. Despite all of this, Hyakkimaru was an incredibly happy and optimistic child. However, in 2013, at the age of 23, Hyakkimaru lost his battle against his disease. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones just days after his birthday. Hyakkimaru’s story is tragic not only because of the physical challenges he faced but also because of the emotional toll that his condition took on him and those around him. ..

In his early twenties, he was born into a family of refugees who had to flee their home country during the civil war. He was barely alive and barely able to walk when he arrived in the United States, and spent the next decade living in various shelters and homeless encampments. He never knew what it was like to be a real boy.

Hyakkimaru had to confront his own body and the flesh of others.

Hyakkimaru’s brother blamed him for the misfortune on land, and thought that Hyakkimaru was out to destroy everything. This is quite off base considering the fact that Hyakkimaru just wanted a normal life.

The journey to understanding each other was difficult, but it was worth it in the end.

19. Meruem

Anime fans rejoice! The long-awaited return of the popular Hunter x Hunter anime is finally here. This exciting series follows the adventures of young Gon Freecss, a self-proclaimed “hacker” who joins a group of adventurers on a journey to find the legendary “Hunter x Hunter” treasure. With its action-packed storylines and intriguing characters, this anime is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. ..

Although Meruem started off as a true monster, that didn’t last long. After meeting Komugi, Meruem genuinely sought to build a better world.

Despite the mixed reactions from his followers and the Hunters, Komugi continued to exist, even though he was constantly misunderstood.

Netero refused to listen to Meruem’s diplomacy attempts, and kept insisting that they fight.

Quite the shame, really – as Meruem was arguably the most human character in the show by the end of the Chimera Ant arc.

18. Satsuki Kiryuuin

Anime: Kill la Kill is a series of anime television shows that follows the adventures of a group of girls who are forced to fight in a tournament to determine the new champion of Japan.

Kiryuuin, from the very beginning, felt like a typical villain. He was cold and calculating, always looking out for himself first. Kiryuuin’s true colors came to light during the second half of the series when he began to target innocent people in order to further his own agenda. ..

The protagonist had employees who worshipped her every word, she was in a high-ranking position, and her ideals directly conflicted with the main character’s.

The answer is pretty cut and dry, yes. ..

People following her seem to be admirers of her for more than just her looks.

When it came to her end goal, it was as noble as a goal could be. She even showcased quite the soft spot after all the fighting was over.

17. Sinbad

The story of the magical creatures known as magi is told in a series of stories that follow the journey of one young girl, Mavis, as she tries to find her way in the world. Along the way, she meets many different characters who help her on her journey, including a wizard who helps her find her way out of the Labyrinth and a dragon who helps her find her true purpose in life.

Sinbad is an oddball on this list because he’s neither a surprise antagonist nor a twist protagonist.

The first few episodes of this show seem like a random person who is kind-hearted and harmless. However, as the show progresses, it becomes clear that this person is actually quite powerful.

But there was something about him that made you feel like you could always count on him.

The man in the white shirt was not the one who had been reported missing.

He’s not exactly evil, but he’s a lot more cunning than people give him credit for. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and it’s safe to say that he didn’t get to where he was through positivity alone.

16. Shigeo Kageyama

Mob Psycho 100 is a new anime series that follows the story of a young man named Shigeo Kageyama who has a unique ability to control the minds of others. This power has made him an outcast in his community, but it also allows him to see the world in a different way. Mob Psycho 100 is an exciting and unique series that will appeal to fans of anime and psychological thrillers. ..

When you hear that someone has psychic powers, you might think that they’re really excited about it.

Power is something that is often associated with those in positions of authority. It’s quite an uncommon sight to see someone without power, which makes it all the more interesting. ..

Despite the fact that Mob wouldn’t agree with that mentality, he just wants to live an average life and not be the next overpowered MC.

He tries to improve himself without relying on his powers.

Despite his reluctance, people keep pushing him back towards a life in the supernatural spotlight. He’s been offered roles in popular supernatural shows, but he’s always turned them down, preferring to stay behind the scenes. But with the recent release of his new book, it seems like people are finally starting to take him seriously. ..

I feel really bad for the little guy who had to go through all this trouble on his own. He probably didn’t have any other friends to help him out, and he probably didn’t have any money.

15. Lordgenome

He’s a ruthless, calculating killer who has no remorse for his actions. He’s the perfect villain for a story about a mad scientist who creates an unstoppable weapon of mass destruction.

He is the king, and people are his property. ..

The guy you’d be rooting for is definitely not the type of dude you’d exactly be rooting for.

However, his decision to make humanity live underground became more reasonable when it was contrasted against the bigger picture. The idea of living in a subterranean society may have seemed like a daunting task at first, but when one takes into account the potential dangers and risks posed by the surface world, it becomes clear that this is the best option. ..

Above all, he wanted humanity to survive. Even if it meant going Machiavellian in order to do it. And that’s something I can kind of understand. ..

14. Katsuki Bakugou

The popular anime series, My Hero Academia, is a story about a young boy named Izuku Midoriya who dreams of becoming the greatest hero in the world. Despite being bullied and having no powers of his own, Izuku perseveres and becomes one of the most powerful heroes in the world. His story inspires others to pursue their dreams no matter what obstacles they face. ..

Despite not being particularly highbrow, My Hero Academia does an excellent job of subverting expectations. In all honesty, Bakugou just seemed like your average anti-hero.

He was a loud, obnoxious, aggressive guy who I didn’t expect to have any deeper emotions.

I was surprised by how much I cried during his arc.

Despite the people who thought he’d side with the League of Villains, he showed just how righteous he was.

In the aftermath of his fight with All Might, Hiro is able to talk openly and honestly with the other student council members about what happened. This conversation is one of my favorite character moments of all time.

This chihuahua of a dude has a lot of vulnerability, and it’s not just his looks.

13. Kodaka Hasegawa

Anime: Haganai: I don’t have many friends because I’m not very social.

Kodaka is a foreign student who attends Class 3-3 of the School for the Gifted and Talented. He’s often mistaken for a delinquent because of his appearance, but he’s actually a very kind and gentle person. ..

People generally avoid him because of the way he frowns. ..

When in reality he is a cupcake.

Luckily, he does end up with a group of people that know the real him. However, they’re quite the outsiders themselves - so they’re all benefiting from that friendship.

12. Tsukasa Shishiou

Tsukasa has quickly become one of my favorite villains in the game. He’s come on strong and is definitely a threat to anyone he meets.

In the end, we saw that J.D. was motivated by good intentions and that his ultimate goal was to make the world a better place for all. He wanted to help his sister and make the world a better place for everyone.

He saw the world as a place where things were going wrong and he believed that drastic measures needed to be taken to fix the situation.

He had a traitor among his ranks, but that’s not the main point. At least he parted ways with Senkuu on the grounds of mutual understanding and respect.

11. Momonga

Ainz is a mysterious figure who only the select few know about. He is a powerful being who has the power to change the world.

Skeleton King is an intimidating figure, with an army that could conquer the world. This has led to people being wary of him. ..

Ainz Ooal Gown, the Supreme Overlord of the Great Underground Empire and its only ruler, has been searching for a fellow player to form an alliance with in order to return home. However, many of his followers believe that Ainz is actually ambitious and wants to rule the world. In reality, Ainz is just looking for someone he can trust and work with to return home. ..

Although I will say that every misunderstanding he has with Demiurge is hilarious.

10. Subaru Natsuki

Subaru seems strange to the point of being weird within the story’s plot.

One moment he’s all jolly. And in the next, he’s in a state of emotional turmoil.

But it makes sense from his perspective. He’s died so many times and witnessed so many atrocities, that you can’t blame him for being a bit messed up now and then. ..

That being said, I’d be extremely creeped out if I were in Emilia’s shoes because from her perspective, they really shouldn’t be that close that quickly.

9. Kusuo Saiki

Anime fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Saiki K. since its premiere in Japan in 2009. The anime tells the story of a high school student, Saiki, who is forced to take on a life of crime after his family is destroyed. Despite his best efforts, Saiki finds himself becoming more and more involved in criminal activity as he gets closer to the end of his school year.

Saiki is a mysterious man who has a complicated life. His family knows what’s going on, but the general public could never really understand him.

The people who are Psychic are not exactly relatable.

Saiki is a mystery to his group. From Kokomi thinking that he’s not human for resisting her charms, to Nendou believing that Saiki needs protection – they’re all in the dark about him.

The main point of the story is that Saiki has a lot to worry about, and that doesn’t stop at his friends.

Some people may not like President Trump, but at least he has the support of those who love him no matter what. ..

8. Askeladd

Askeladd is one of my favorite characters from the past few years. Although he starts as just a generic antagonist, his character arc is a masterpiece. He starts off as just a generic antagonist, but his character arc is a masterpiece. ..

We are introduced to a mysterious figure within the first few episodes of this season, but even then we are not sure who he is or what he wants. We see that there is more to him than meets the eye, but even then we are not sure where he is coming from.

I was never really sure what he was going to do until the very last episode. ..

The events of the night that led up to the murder of his wife made perfect sense once he did it.

Everything seems to be going according to plan until you realize that something is off.

7. Amatsuyu Kisaragi

Do you love me too?

Jouro is a manipulative person who uses others to get what he wants.

The protagonist, in an effort to achieve the high school experience he was promised, lies to anyone and everyone. ..

The audience immediately knows what he’s all about, but the other characters are quite taken aback. ..

The show then shifts its focus back to the character of John, and we see how he has changed since the beginning of the show. We see how he has become more honest and caring, and how he has started to take responsibility for his actions.

The unexpected sight of someone else doing the same thing as you is always amusing. ..

6. Saitama

One Punch Man is an anime series that follows the adventures of a young man named Goku who is forced to fight in a tournament to save his home country from destruction.

Saitama is a low-level wannabe hero that probably won’t amount to much in the eyes of most people.

In the eyes of Genos, Saitama is a powerful figure that holds the potential to do anything. ..

Saitama is in a state of existential crisis. He doesn’t enjoy life anymore and wants to challenge himself in new and exciting ways.

The other characters in this novel are quite off base when it comes to the way that the main character is portrayed.

5. Louis

I feel sorry for Louis because he’s always been a victim.

Although he wanted to break free, the pressure to succeed was too much. Everyone looked at him and expected him to be a perfect role model. ..

Even he looks at himself and expects perfection. But life isn’t that simple or forgiving. ..

Despite his many setbacks, Louis continues to push himself to do the impossible. He never gives up, no matter what the cost.

4. Lelouch Lamperouge

Lelouch is hated for his actions in the world of Code Geass, and especially for his role in the genocide of the Lucian people.

Only a few know exactly how noble he truly was. He had a great sense of duty and a deep love for his people. He was always willing to help others, even if it meant sacrificing himself.

Lelouch was a unique figure in his time, and even though many people could not understand him, he still managed to achieve great things.

3. Naofumi Iwatani

The Rising of the Shield Hero is a new anime series that tells the story of a young boy who is forced to fight in a war against an alien race. He must use his skills and training to protect his people and defeat the aliens.

The Naofumi Foundation was set up from the very beginning, as a way to help others in need.

Although he came to this new world by force, and reluctantly accepted the position of a hero, he quickly found out that the dire circumstances he was in were not what he expected. ..

He was humiliated and ridiculed by his peers, and his family. He was left alone in the kingdom, with no one to help him. Naofumi was left to fend for himself.

Even when he became more powerful and started making a positive impact on the world, the ill intent towards him remained.

I’m impressed that he still found it in himself to trust anyone after that.

2. Eren Yeager

The anime Attack on Titan is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows of all time. The story follows a group of people who are forced to live in a walled city after a giant creature known as a titan destroys most of the world. ..

Since the final season is currently airing, I’ll have to be very vague about this one.

In seasons 4-5, Eren seems like a pretty complex chap.

The Titan’s defeat at the hands of the Red Legion was a turning point in the war. He wanted revenge on them and that was all that mattered to him.

Eren’s moral dilemma in Season 4 became more complicated as he began to realize that his actions could have serious consequences for the future of humanity.

Eren Jaeger was on a journey that no one knew about. That’s all we can say without spoiling it – but his character was written perfectly.

1. Itachi Uchiha

Although Itachi’s character has been analyzed to death in the years since Shippuden ended, his story is still one of my favorite anime stories of all time. ..

Many characters in this show are misunderstood. Nagato, Sasuke, Obito, and even Sakura are all examples. ..

Itachi was the most successful of the Uchiha clan, and his skills as a ninja were unrivaled. ..

Initially, many people thought Sasuke would have to face the biggest villain he had ever faced- Naruto. But once their clash actually occurred, something didn’t feel right. ..

We learn about the man’s backstory, and everything in it is flipped on its head.

Anime fans have been fooled for years by one of the most recognizable characters in all of anime – and now they know the truth. ..
