Pioneer Woman is a cooking show with over twenty-seven (27) seasons and about two hundred and thirty (230) episodes. The show was created by Ree Drummond and was first aired in 2011 on Food Network. To date, Ree Drummond entertains and educates are teaming viewers and fans with different delicious homemade recipes and episodes. The Pioneer Woman didn’t just show up in 2011 from the blues,  Ree Drummond had been blogging recipes online since 2006. Aside from being a blogger and a TV chef, it has a cooking ware and utensils line sold at her and her husband’s store, the merchandile, and online in Walmart.

The Pioneer Woman Kitchen began as a blog with a subdomain n Typepad in 2006 before Ree Drummond registered her’s in October 2007. She blogged about living on a ranch and her family, and what her audience enjoyed most was her detailed step-by-step how-tos with picture representations. With a whopping thirteen (13) million reading audience, the Food Network employed her in 2011. She brought her recipes to our TV screens and has been blessing us with its delight ever since.

The Pioneer Woman Home Cooking Vs. The Lodge

Ree Drummond’s home kitchen is not the actual set where the show is filmed. The kitchen in her guest house which her family calls “the lodge” is where the filming of the magic happens. If you’ve watched any of her episodes, you would confess that she makes cooking the recipes look very neat and easy. This, however, is not always the case when she cooks in her home kitchen, especially when she’s trying a new recipe. She confesses that in an interview, unlike on her show, her home kitchen is a mess when she cooks as she tries to discover new recipes with pots and pans everywhere. The Lodge

The lodge is only two (2) miles away from her home. It was the first place she and her husband, Ladd Drummond lived before moving. The lodge was intended to be a guest house, but the only living there are members of her crew when they have to do a film. It is fondly referred to as her second home. She uses the space as her office where she does all the food-related work from writing to photographing and even testing new recipes in her cookbook.

The Pioneer Woman Kitchen is a filming location for the popular show “Pioneer Woman.” Just to give fans an empirical experience of where their favorite kitchen show is filmed, the tickets are available at “The Merchantile” between 9 am to 5 pm with no price tags! Fans leave the city for the ranch to have this experience.
