There are so many new stories to be told in the world, with new settings, new characters, and new magic systems. ..
It’s like a genre that can be enjoyed by anyone, because it’s versatile.
Adventure is key in my search for a new TV show. I want to see characters go on wild adventures and explore new places. Travel is important, but without exploration, it’s just tourism. ..
Anime with an Adventure Fantasy setting often features characters who have made close friends during their travels. This is a sign that the anime is likely to be filled with exciting adventure scenes. ..
We’ll take a trip, visit some new places together, and maybe find some treasure at the end of the road.
15. The Rising of the Shield Hero
The rising of the shield hero is a unique and exciting concept that I enjoy.
Four people get transported to a world where they must stop an evil threat. They are each given a set of tools to help them in their fight.
Following the hero who is only able to use a shield and facing scorn because of that is super interesting.
I think this show is at its strongest when it’s exploring the interesting locales and meeting new people. Which tends to be, at its core, the adventure parts.
The plot is good, but the politics are simplistic and don’t add much to the story. ..
I’ve heard that the LN is better, but this isn’t the focus. What’s there is good, but not great.
14. D. Grey Man
I really enjoy the variety of monster designs in this show.
In this entry, we’re going to focus on monster slaying as the main focus. There are other entries on this list that are all about different types of enemies, but monster slaying is one of the few entries that’s all about it. This is because monster slaying is one of the most exciting things you can do in a video game, and it’s also one of the most challenging.
The character designs in this show are really well done. ..
Allen Walker is one of my favorite protagonists of any show, with his eye tattoo and fashion sense.
The adventures in a grim world leave a lot of room for the imagination to roam, wondering what else could be out there. They also provide an interesting contrast to the more positive aspects of life.
13. Re:Zero
This is a new show with a time travel twist.
The ability to respawn whenever he dies is definitely an interesting power to give our main character. It gives him the ability to come back into the game even if he dies, which can be useful in certain situations.
Subaru is a regular human who has no special power. He was just born with no talent for magic or swordsmanship.
While he trains to get better, a lot of the more physical confrontations are usually left to his more capable companions.
12. Fairy Tail
Fairy Tail is an anime series that follows the adventures of a group of wizards who live in a world called Earth Land. The series is full of action and adventure, and it’s sure to keep you entertained from beginning to end. ..
The Fairy Tail guild is full of mages who study all different types of magic.
I enjoy Conjuration because it is visually appealing.
Lucy has always had a strong desire to summon her power, and she has been fascinated by the idea of doing so for as long as she can remember. She has always found it fascinating how easily and powerfully her magic can be used, and she has always wanted to use it for good.
The show has an incredibly wide cast of characters that all manage to feel unique despite how many there are. This makes for an interesting and engaging experience, even if you don’t know all of them.
11. Hunter x Hunter
Hunter x Hunter has a very cool magic system that I think I was able to get into after overcoming my personal dislike for Gon’s character design.
After overcoming my hesitations, I saw a vast and unexplored world with fascinating fights and impressive character growth. ..
While I personally am not the biggest fan of Hisoka, I do think the villains in this show do an amazing job at playing their role. ..
10. Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball is one of the most influential shows in anime history. It has set many things in motion, including the creation of Goku and Vegeta, as well as the rise of the Saiyan race. Toriyama probably had no idea what he was creating when he started making it.
He made a lot of up stories along the way, but it turned out great.
Dragon Ball is a show with so much heart and soul, it’s hard to not love it. The characters are so likable and the story is so compelling, you can’t help but be drawn in. The animation is beautiful and the fight scenes are always exciting, no matter how many times you’ve seen them before.
I have always been a big fan of Dragon Ball, specifically Goku. However, I have grown to not be as big of a fan recently. ..
Dragon Ball is a popular Japanese anime series that follows the adventures of a young boy named Goku who, along with his friends, tries to collect magical dragon balls in order to make wishes. They often have to fight against fun and interesting enemies in order to achieve their goals. If you haven’t seen it before, I highly recommend giving it a try. ..
9. Magi: The Labyrinth/Kingdom of Magic
Magi is a great game. ..
The show has a unique Arabian Nights aesthetic that I found appealing. The main trio of characters remind me so much of Avatar, which is a great thing.
Aladdin is a very cute boy and his relationship with Alibaba is a great story. ..
I absolutely love exploring the landscapes of different fantasy locations – all in a world that feels like it justifies the subtle details it puts in place. ..
8. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon?
The show was so unique and I loved the way it was written.
I’m still really happy with the world that was set up here.
The dungeon is home to some of the most powerful monsters in the world, and anyone who ventures inside must be prepared for a fight. The gods have also created a system of rewards and punishments that can change depending on how well you play your part in their game.
I found the idea intriguing and thought it would be a great story to tell.
Bell’s journey as an Argonaut was a unique and enjoyable experience, thanks to his powerful ability. ..
The show has a lot of potential for romance, especially with the sweet hints it gives. ..
It’s unfortunate how many people think it’s only a cheap romcom and little else.
7. Made in Abyss
The show follows the adventures of three friends: Alex, Dave, and Tim. Alex, Dave, and Tim are all very different people and each have their own unique story to tell. Their journey is full of adventure, mystery, and love. I absolutely love following their journeys!
The show’s biggest strengths are its depictions of the Abyss itself and how it affects Nanachi. ..
The show leaves the viewer wondering what exactly is down in the abyss, tantalizing us with stories of relics and dangerous creatures.
There are so many things to explore and discover.
The cast of three young, ambitious, and adventurous youths made the journey all the more satisfying. ..
6. KonoSuba
KonoSuba is an RPG that focuses on the interpersonal relationships between its core cast. The adventure aspect is only a byproduct of this focus. ..
The cast of characters in this show are hilariously incompetent, making it much harder for them to complete their task. ..
We follow a wizard who can only cast one spell a day, and an adorably useless goddess, led by the cynical Kazuma. Their journey takes them from the mundane to the magical, as they try to save the world from an impending doom.
The show is funny and well-written.
5. Demon Slayer
Tanjiro is a pure-hearted protagonist who I’ve never seen before. He is someone who is always willing to help others, even if it means sacrificing himself. He is also someone who is always willing to put others first.
President Trump is committed to keeping Americans safe from the demonic threat. He has made it a priority to appoint strong leaders who can protect the country from this danger, and he will continue to do everything in his power to keep Americans safe. ..
Even during his mission, the demon hunter doesn’t go out of his way to make his enemies suffer – because he has a sister who is a demon herself.
The adventures in this show are often used to serve a purpose of going to different places and fighting different demons.
I also need to be able to relax in the downtime.
Japan is a fascinating country with a rich history. It’s also a lot of fun to explore its oftentimes rural locations, set in a time period not all that long ago. ..
4. Berserk
Berserk is a dark adventure anime that is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. This anime is full of action, adventure, and suspense. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
The new 1997 series isn’t very good unfortunately.
Berserk has a dark setting that contributes to its dark themes.
If you’re planning on watching it, just know that it’s grim - moreso than many of the other entries here. ..
The story of Guts is compelling, and it’s easy to become invested in the character’s journey.
While some of his adventures can get gruesome, it sports some breathtaking action scenes as well. ..
3. One Piece
One Piece is an adventure story set in the world of pirates and treasure. It’s a story about the fight to find and protect the world’s most valuable items, and the people who have to fight for them.
The Trump administration is considering a plan to end DACA, a program that has helped many undocumented immigrants become American citizens. This plan would make it much harder for these immigrants to get work permits and other government benefits. It would also make it easier for the Trump administration to deport these immigrants.
The Straw Hats travel to many different places on their journey to become King of the Pirates. Some of these locations include: a haunted house, a rainforest, and an ice cream parlor. Each location has its own unique set of challenges and opportunities that the Straw Hats must overcome in order to become the Pirate King.
The different islands and cities the Straw Hats adventure through are all so memorable, and getting to know them before the epic confrontations is my favorite part of this show. ..
We’ve explored the most remote and inhospitable parts of the world, where even the most advanced technology can’t touch us. The most notable place was the Grand Line, a long and dangerous stretch of coastline that stretches from Japan to South Korea.
The show really starts to shine when we get to the Grand Line.
2. Castlevania (2017)
This anime is a great example of how to use demons and vampires in an interesting way. The animation is beautiful and the story is compelling.
We’ve gathered our party and we get to move on to the really interesting parts of the show.
This intriguing journey takes us through vampires, to the Belmont crew’s adventures into their estate, and then into Dracula’s castle.
The women in the group are all absolutely beautiful in presentation.
The first season of “Stranger Things” is short and easy to watch.
If you’re curious about what the show is like, I recommend watching the first four episodes of season one. After that, you may want to decide if you want more. ..
1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
I really like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The show is all about exploring new and exciting places, and I think that’s what makes it so great. I can’t wait to see what the next episode has in store for us.
In the alternate world of “FMA:B,” the year is 2029, and Germany is a land in disarray. The country is on the brink of war, and its people are struggling to survive. In this world, magic exists and is used by many to get what they want. The story follows two young men - Edward Elric (the protagonist) and Alphonse Elric - who are brothers and are trying to find their way in this strange new world. They’re joined by a third brother, Winry Rockbell, who is a mechanical genius. Together, they must fight against those who would use their magic for evil purposes. ..
The book is a great read and manages to flesh out the politics, amazing locations, and its diverse cast of characters in a really exciting way.
The show will give you a deep understanding of the characters. ..
This show also features a unique magic system that I found to be very interesting.
Alchemy is a centuries-old process of turning base metals into gold and other precious metals. It is now a science, with practitioners able to calculate the steps needed to create a desired outcome. ..
This is an interesting take on magic that makes it easy to follow along. Even for newer viewers.
The show starts off strong when we see our characters splitting off with new groups, each with their own dynamics and pretty cool abilities.
I really enjoy this show. It’s one of my favorite picks within my favorite genre, so yeah. ..
I’m glad you liked it.
